I made a reservation for a table on a Sunday and arrived at 3pm. When we went to order, they had run out of roasts, which was incredibly disappointing. It wouldn't have been as disappointing if we hadn't booked in advance. In addition to being out of roasts, they were also out of every type of meat. It's hard to believe that they ran out of every meat option for the roasts. It seems like the kitchen was overwhelmed and didn't care. Speisekarte ansehen

Four children two adults out for lunch. The Brandling is a really lovely place. Superb surroundings. Delicious meals all round. Mine was salmon, cooked to perfection, some had chicken, scotch egg, Mac cheese and more. Everything was delicious. Well done chefs Luca and Chris. Looked after by two top assistants Evie and Ryan who made sure we had all we wanted. Friendly and professional. Will certainly go back to the Branding Arms. So so pleased it’s local for us.

I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to Matt, Grace, Ryan, Josh, and the team at The Brandling Arms for helping me celebrate my 50th birthday. Everything was absolutely perfect, from setting up the room to dressing the cake table and providing delicious food and drinks at a reasonable price. I highly recommend their function room for any special event or party. The location on the High Street in Gosforth is convenient, with a shopping center nearby for party supplies and easy access to bus and metro stops. Thank you all once again for a memorable celebration!

Haven’t been to brandling since the refurb and I was still really impressed with the quality/taste of their food and the overall attentiveness of the staff. We both had the burger with bacon which was delicious. Didn’t sample the refurbed outdoor space but the Brandling has always been great for the atmosphere both inside but mainly outside and I will certainly be back again when the weather was nicer to sit outdoors. To those that seem to moan here about annoying people, they are everywhere but I’m not really sure how you can blame an establishment for that. Overall I’m glad we have a place with great quality/service as the competition in Gosforth seems to be dwindling and they are going to... Speisekarte ansehen
