Great food, came quickly. Pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Best halloumi burger to ever squeak against my teeth. Sweet Freak burger brought that sweet/savoury satisfaction. Overall excellent experience.

Went for a meal prior to the weekly quiz, had a great night overall, great selection of drinks and the quiz was a barrel laughs. Disappointed with the food though, not that it was bad necessarily (no real need for complaint) just mediocre for the price.

nice lunch experience on sunday roast. Eating was top-class, we had sirloin steak and beef lunch and eating was perfectly prepared and served. especially thanks to grace for mounting in and also martha for brilliant service. keep the good work brandling. You're the best!

everything from the menu is good! the menu variant is actually quite fantastic for a pub-hunt. and each dish actually tastes stellar. hearty, delicious, packed with great taste pairings that are not their usual run of the mill. probably my favorite stuff in newscastle, by far!

New decor is fab Drinks were pretty pricey I had the pasta and I thought it was a very mean portion of actual pasta compared to the lovely amounts of sauce and shellfish in it bizarre to be stingy on the cheapest part of the dish. I felt like I needed to go home and have some toast afterwards!

Lovely bar, lovely staff, lovely food! This is my second visit over the past couple of months. On both occasions the staff were lovely friendly, food drinks were great prices good, especially considering the quality of our lunch each time. Child friendly on our day time visits too. If you're not sure go, have the fish goujon sandwich for lunch **** gorgeous!

Booked for a small family Xmas meal and it did not fail to deliver. Met on arrival and shown to our nicely set out table straight away. We were introduced to our server, Chloe, who was very attentive and helpful all night. The food is up there for a local pub but of restaurant quality and I would recommend a visit here. We had the three course Xmas meal which came hot and just the right amount.

Good, spacious pub with decent food. The waiter was excellent enforced all CV19 rules but without being fussy. Was helpful when my Mum needed to give her details manually as she didn't have the NHS app. Had some pints of Camden Hells which was delicious, and had the veggie burger for lunch. Burger was good but slightly on the pricey side £12) for a non city centre location. Food and drinks all came very quickly after ordering service was very good.

Nice place to eat, there was a very chilled atmosphere but the staff team were on form with excellent service and a good knowledge of the menu. There were a few very well behaved dogs too and we were in with our 4 year old and 1 year old. We will definitely be back and the burger well what an absolute beast of a burger. My hate off the the creator and the chef who diverted it on the day. It was cooked to perfection and every flavour and texture worked in harmony with each other. One of the best burgers I've had in a while.. Wel done chef.
