nice friendly staff and great eating beautiful selection although not see a vegetarian option, so maybe check before they go beautiful presentation and service

A real treat. Combination of beef delightful roast potatoes to die for! Staff attentive. Restaurant ambience good. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others. Thank you.

Went for Sunday Lunch and was very impressed. 2 course menu 17, 3 course 20. Sufficient choices of starter, main and dessert. Food quality and quantity very good and excellent service attentive and good humoured . A little out of the way but definitely one to go back to! Speisekarte ansehen

before the butchers arms visited for Sunday dinner I was looking forward to a return flight. but my Friday afternoon experience was not so positiw. Although we were not busy, we got our food only an hour after our arrival and the quality was not what was expected due to the previous experience.

Had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch, party of 4. 2 of us had the roast Beef and 2 had the Salmon. The Roast Beef was very good and we wished we had ordered a side of roast potatoes because they were very tasty. The Salmon was chargrilled and cooked exactly right. The food and service were overall too a very high standard, a big step above the usual 'Pub Grub' Looking forward to returning, probably for a festive menu.

Good food, comfortable and relaxing surroundings. But sadly, that's the only good thing that can be said. Service was so slow. One side dish didn't turn up. A complimentary dish of chips that was offered, also never turned up. Annoyingly, all evening all we could hear was constant apologies being offered to diners. We were left with the impression that that Butchers Arms had recently gone through extensive renovations, and so maybe the aforementioned issues were teething problems ? Speisekarte ansehen

these places were recommended to us by a friend who lives in front of location. we were on the high season and wanted a nice Sunday dinner before we returned to london. eating and service were amazing, 3 courses for 20 is incredible worth. I had the pork roast and it is highly recommended. I will make the trip from london again, it would be worth the trip! had in the heart of one of the best frying dinners I've ever eaten. if I could improve a thing, it would be salt and pfeffer grinder not shaker, or at least ground pfeffer, then it would be perfection!

décor was good and so was initial service but then waited at least 30mins for starters. Once this arrived I have to say it was very tasty. It wasn't such a long wait for main meal but I had asked for medium cooked steak and it arrived well done. My husbands rack of ribs although meaty lacked flavour and both our chunky chips could have done with a little more cooking. If the price had been a little better we may be tempted to go back as everyone working there were very pleasant but having visited other restaurants in the area who provide a higher quality meal for a lesser price I think we shall decide against it

We first visited the Butchers Arms a few weeks ago when we were told the oven was broken hence the slow service, as the food was excellent we decided to give them another go. On arrival we joked 'is the oven working today?' we were assured it was. This being the case I have no idea why it took over two hours to produce a two course meal for 3 people......we were so fed up we ended up cancelling our desserts! I'm unsure if the waiting staff are poorly organised at one point we had our table half cleared and the waitress went off to take someone else's order, or if the kitchen is understaffed and therefore unable to produce more than one item at a time.
