The Central - Speisekarte

It was OK, nothing special, but acceptable. The Ulster breakfast was warm at best and the coffee was it's usual average quality. The staff tried their best while the children ran around their feet.

Awwe, come on people let's shut this chain down, only good for alcoholic drinkers, twenty chips and a cube of steak, my god, people must be terrified to say anything about this place. Sorry I've already ate 5 chips, check your cctv

Had breakfast on a busy Saturday morning.Lovely food and above all exceptional customer care from the duty mgr to the lovely smiley lady at the till.Scrambled eggs perfect as was Ulster fry.Warm and cosy as well on a cold rainy day.Will definitely return

I always enjoy a pint here of real draught ale. And the food here is duplicate of other wetherspoons I go to. That is very tasty . Well presented and very good value. I have I find the staff always busy helpful and friendly. Really great value places and comfortable.

For four mornings we came here for breakfast and enjoyed every one we had. Compared to what we got in the premier inn this place was so much better. We both loved the bacon and the sausages were lovely and tasty. Staff very friendly and it was clean when we entered. Plates were warm too.

Plese please dont visit this place if you have a dog. We had a small dog, sitting outside as woulnt take a dog inside but was asked to leave premises even though was outside and dog on lead. I would like to know definition of word 'premises '. I thought pavement belonged to DRD. Anyway Ownies and others allow dogs outside so please if you are a dog owner, avoid this place. I would never take my small dog inside any premises.

My wife and I visit here regularly, food is average at best, but the biggest problem is the heating, 1 min it's blowing lovely warm air, the next it's blowing freezing cold and makes your food go cold very quickly. When we asked 1 of the staff about it, we were told it was controlled centrally from England, I think this is ridiculous, how can heating not be controlled locally... The bar itself is ok, but definitely could do with a makeover, decor is in need of updating....

Previous experience here has been good but my latest visit to the Central Bar was really poor. The whole place is run down. The tables and floors were dirty, there was dust sitting on most surfaces, the front door glass was covered in grubby fingerprints and the decor has seen better times, a long time ago! JD Wetherspoon leave plenty of magazines on the tables with details of their classy premises across the water but these only emphasise how poor this place has become. With Covid still prevalent there was also very little evidence of any precautions being taken. It's time JD sort this place out or else get out. It's embarassing.

I have visited this bar on numerous occasions and something seriously needs sorting with their heating system. Autumn, winter, spring and summer, there is freezing cold air blowing from the vents. When getting food, you have to eat it so quickly before it is stone cold. Everyone that comes into the bar and sits at the empty seats, soon move, when they realise why they are empty. Customers are constantly having to put their coats and hats on. When the staff have been asked to switch the blow off, they give different stories as to why they can't....they say that they have no control over it and that it is controlled centrally in England, or it is controlled by sensors outside (which is absolut...
