Absolutely appalling take away meal. Failed to get the order right and the food was tasteless and stodgy. Worst Chinese I've ever had.

Excellent food too great. Friendly and attentive service. Well-distributed tables for COVID-19 rules and hand hygiene plus temperature testing during entry soothing. However, toilet facilities could do with an upgrade.

I love this place. I've been here for almost ten years and I love the place, both for taking and for a restaurant dinner. they made a lunch buffet every day, even though this was still worth the price on Friday. decor is lightly dated, but beautiful and cozy and I tend to a bit retro so five stars of me

At the moment, 2 hours and 20 minutes are waiting for an order. I tried to cancel the order an hour ago, but I was told that I had to pay half of the order because it was prepared. An hour ago. But when the food arrived, the delivery driver was beautiful and so apologetic. He made this a star and not a star.

Absolutely shocking. Placed our order. Said it would be about an hour fine. No food arrives. Tried to call no answer. No answer to the online chat. Emailed and asked for discount as they are late and no communication. They offered £3 off a £40+ order. This was supposed to be a family meal as it’s been a really stressful week and it’s been ruined by appalling customer service

During our recent visit to Edinburgh, we decided to dine at this restaurant and were very impressed by the food and service. Opting for the banquet menu, we also enjoyed a bottle of wine which complemented the delicious courses perfectly. The waiter was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. This exceptional restaurant certainly deserves more praise and we will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the decor is on point. The bathrooms could use some improvement though. There seems to be a language barrier when ordering, but if you embrace the 'Fawlty Towers' approach and don't expect a perfect experience, you'll have a great time. I would definitely recommend it. They are quite busy with takeout orders coming in sporadically throughout the restaurant. I've been here twice in the past 8 months.

I was a couple of times in china palace for the lunch deal and thought that eating was ok, but recently tried the a la carte menu in the night and its fantastic. there is a great choice, the seafood is above all very good quality and the prices are very reasonable. the wine list is also very good. I also ordered a takeaway that was almost as good as a sitting and had many offers like free dine / beer when ordering over a certain amount. the personal was always very nice and the service is efficient! a great sound!

Been customer since they opened. I am going to describe my last 2 orders. 1. A couple weeks ago I ordered my usual. Nothing out of the ordinary here, however, large was my surprise when I tasted the chow mein and tasted of smoke and felt burnt. Claimed and got replacement. But not up to what I am used to from this place, pretty bland. 2. My friend went to pick up my last order and ended up having an argument with the staff about if a free dish was given or not and left without it, while having it requested at time of ordering and claiming it again when picking up, and order being well over offer.
