Came in for for breakfast.husband ordered a large breakfast which included toast.food arrived but no toast.went to ask why and told they had no bread.found his a bit of a joke when there's a tesco express just round the corner.they did offer a toasted muffin...instead.

I visit the weatherspoons in Northampton regularly. It has a great selection of beer at fantastic prices, however I have had a lot of meals there and I have to say apart from the curries the food in general is not served hot. I have...complained several times and I have seen many customers complaining about luke warm food. Why is it so difficult to serve hot food, it doesn't look good when the waiter's are returning so many meals back to the kitchen. I will continue to drink there but sadly won't eat there anymore. We went to the Cordwainer yesterday surprised to see the new prices on a lot of drinks and some meals. Some drinks are half price for November. The place was full with well behaved people,we visit this place frequently and have always had good service....Apparently the manager has been there many years since it opened which speaks volumes for the well run place. We must give a special mention about the staff they are always friendly and helpful,especially Mia she's a lovely girl always smiling and interested in us as customers. Great place.

Food arrived not as we ordered. When speaking with a staff member she informed me she will sort this out with the manager. The manager came over to speak to me after speaking with a colleague times. When the manager came over, he told...me the mistake was my fault and he will not do anything to sort their mistake out because he didn’t want to ‘waste their stock’. He laughed at me on several occasions and refused to swap over the food despite being told otherwise beforehand. After confronting the manager about laughing at me and being rude, he finally refunded us for their mess up as he had ‘just had enough’ Wont be returning !!

So, I frequently go to this spoons and this time the dreadful quality was too far! My vegetarian friend received the wrong burger patty! We were not happy! When the server brought the right burger they did not supply the chips that were on...the plate to begin with. My other friend ordered a chicken burger, upon taking a bite it was freezing cold! Literally fridge temperature. Disgusting ! I could’ve put it in my drink as an ice cube! When the chicken burger was brought back hot, there were no chips or onion rings even though they weren’t touched before taking the burger back! Drinks were meh, coffee is alright nothing special. I am in this pub regularly with friends and have to say I always enjoy the prices and a well poured pint. However every time myself and friends have ordered food it is beyond poor. It is always dry, always tough and almost like it...is refrigerated. I understand that this is pub grub and most of it is frozen. But it’s almost like their heat lamps aren’t working, twice in a row now I have been here and had food that is stone cold and almost inedible.
