can not comment on the room as we used it for a high-time room. this pub is fantastic for high times. the personal is very attentive and efficient. the food was excellent. great performance. nothing was too much annoyed. well done.

we visited today a view of the marquee for our high time and try some of the foods as it is a potential place for us. the employees were all absolutely beautiful and treated us so well. eating was also amazing, just what we wanted for a Sunday roast. we will definitely come back!

Brilliant food and had a great first visit when dining. Subsequent visits for drinks only were not great... always polite but one of the young bar men needs some bar training as he doesn't know what the drinks are on the menu, what each spirit is or how much anything costs. Been to The Cromwell Arms many times, and never had a bad meal. But today's was exceptional! Sea bass with Rogan Josh and potatos. Was absolutely lovely! Will definitely have that again. Served by very nice young lad, think it was George who did a great job in looking after us. All round a lovely experience, as ever!

we were for a night on holy night. the room was clean with an incredibly comfortable bed. the staff (from the bar, as we arrived late) was really friendly. there was live music in the bar, but they couldn't hear it in the room. the breakfast the following day was fantastic, and again the staff was beautiful and very courteous, and it is dog friendly...can not ask for much more!

Gorgeous, smart gastropub boutique hotel. Can't rate this place too highly. We were stopping over the night before joining a cruise at Southampton. We chose the Cromwell because it was perfectly positioned for our purposes and it was very reasonably priced with breakfast included. Family planned a wake .. paid for a private room and food and toast for 50 people .. room was not private couples having lunch room was to small not enough chairs .. tea coffee facilities not set up on arrival and more important toast for the deceased was not available until most guests had travelled back to other parts of the uk !! The widow was traumatised as the toast was of great importance and was to be given on arrival of guests after the funeral .. terrible service but it got worse not enough seating not at all private and food was about 4/6 trays of food not worth a quarter of the cost **** disgusting.. on complaint apparently a sorry was enough that they were short staffed spoiled a...

what could be better than a weekend in the country with great weather? well, they could start booking the cromwell arms in romsey! as regular visitors of this part of the world, we decided to stay overnight in the country and were not disappointed. the cromwell arm is a delightful pub/hotel with friendly welcome, excellent accommodation and a great gastro-sub menu that will not break the bank! the staff was particularly attentive and the table service was fast and efficient. the beer garden was beautiful and very well maintained, with couples and families all enjoy this beautiful space in the sunshine. their deluxe rooms offer all mod cons, besides personal touches, such as a small crippled...

It saddens me to leave a negative review. After an unpleasant experience and for my message to have been ignored strikes unprofessional attitude from the management. myself and my wife booked a night away at your establishment as we have had such a romantic night previously and as it was our wedding anniversary. November 22nd we were squeezed into the bar as the restaurant area was booked for a corporate night and at times they packed the bar out and we felt uncomfortable. our night was further ruined by awful karaoke singing from the corporate area. we spoke to Luke the supervisor who was more than apologetic but i am afraid the damage was already done. we spent nearly £200 including drinks...
