"We arrived early but was shown to our table with no waiting around…unfortunately it went down hill from there… the drinks order was wrong and then I was served a different sandwich from the one I ordered and then they forgot the chunky fries….BUT all issues were rectified swiftly and our wonderful newly appointed waitress did an excellent job of smoothing over the errors made and even gave us a little discount on our bill which was a lovely gesture."

Not bad for a roast lunch but they had run out of cracking. Nothing else offered so I asked for extra. Parsnips as only had 1 on my plate !!

we were a lot of time, but this time baked spuds heated up and port fat and the same old menus don't suffer back until bigger menus and changed????

for Sunday dinner. very busy, something like that waits for the food. when it arrived, it was worth waiting. huge service. excellent roasting. well cooked and well presented. friendly and friendly staff.

We went there for lunch to celebrate my birthday . The service was prompt and the staff were very courteous. The food came hot and there was plenty of it. We look forward to Our next visit to the Cromwell Cottage.

We use this restaurant for its quality and service also the ambiance yesterday was so disappointing mushrooms were tasteless prawns no sign of chilli. Main course steak ordered as medium rare came as rare. waitress was so miserable. For the price a really bad experience will not use again or recommend
