"Our anticipated meal at this restaurant, which we had booked in advance, unfortunately did not meet our expectations. The only positive aspect was the beautiful interior and building. However, the food was disappointing as it seemed to cut corners and lacked some of the items listed on the menu. The main dishes were very simple, with few ingredients and little flavor. It was a bit of a stretch to call a bowl of spinach leaves and a sprinkle of cheese a salad, especially considering the high price. The service was poor, as no one checked on us and when we mentioned that the food was only okay, they did not investigate further. Lovely hotel! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I only stayed one night, but I wish I could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend it 100%.

I absolutely loved meeting the owners, Hannah and Hubby. This place is always a must-visit whenever we return to Chiddingfold from New Zealand. The service is top-notch, the location is perfect, and the hotel itself is luxurious.
