"The atmosphere at this restaurant was pleasant and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I started with buffalo wings which were delicious. My friend had a prawn cocktail that she felt was lacking in flavor and had too many leaves. For the main course, we had dover sole with chips and tartar sauce. The taste was good, but we found the price of £24 to be quite high, especially considering it did not come with a side of salad or dessert. Although we enjoyed the food, we felt the price was too steep. We would consider visiting again, as we had previously had a great dining experience at this restaurant before the COVID-19 pandemic, and at a more reasonable price."

Overall pretty good. Food was very nice. Lighting very bright killed the atmosphere and music too quiet. Banofie pudding was a sticky toffee which was disappointing. Dim those lights down!!!!

We both had a roast dinner which was yummy. Good portion. Had a side of pigs in blankets. I was too full for a pudding so decided to try the homemade fudge which was very good. Girls were really attentive. Will definitely go back after lock down.

Pleasant pub with good food I had dinner here on a warm Saturday, when sitting in the garden was very pleasant. The prawn and avocado salad starter was excellent. The chicken and ham pie casing was rather hard, but the filling was very tasty and was served with a generous portion of vegetables and mashed potato.

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Even though we arrived just before 6 o'clock, we were still able to place our order. There was a great variety of meal options to choose from. The special dish of the day, which was fish smothered in a lemon and dill sauce, was absolutely delicious.

I stayed in room 9, which was nice, clean, and cozy. The bathroom had a double sink and a very good shower/bath, and was spacious like the bedroom area. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was not great and I could hear my neighbors in the next room. The continental breakfast was nice and the evening meal was very tasty with a good selection on the menu. They also had a good variety of alcoholic drinks, although they were a bit overpriced. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the garden area was a pleasant place to sit. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Swan Inn.
