Great little cafe that serves good coffee and fantastic cakes at reasonable prices tucked away off Builth Wells High Street.

Lovely, dog friendly cafe with a good menu. A few gluten free options and excellent coffee. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Theres a selection of welsh produce available to but including some great Welsh cheeses.

The best cafe in Builth, thanks to Debbie and Lisa, we go twice a week and I’ve never had a bad meal, these girls are worth their weight in gold, always happy and the best food. Debbie your food is excellent and Lisa the best service always with a smile, thank you ladies. Speisekarte ansehen

A nice little cafe offering a good range of food, with a pleasant little tucked away and covered courtyard. We visited a few times during our nearby stay once for breakfast and once for a lunchtime panini. Both were good, generous and good value for money. The cakes looked good too, but we didn’t have room!

We were sat outside with the dogs and no one told us they were allowed inside as it was really cold. We waited 35 mins for two burgers and were told the lady in the kitchen was up against it as she was on her own. I had a chocolate milkshake the milk was off. I gave it back and they just sniffed it and put it down the sink ! Felt very disappointed with the visit, as the could have offered a coffee replacement, there just seemed a lack of care for a customer experience.

Walked across the road to this location. At first it felt spacious however it soon felt cramped. The choice of food was black tea and cake. The cake seemed to have far too much sugar so I will avoid this one in the future the tea itself was plain every day tea at an increased price of 1.50. Though not the most expensive. The vegetarian breakfast itself was really lovely and we ate it all, however I suppose I 'd like to draw attention to it 's 'basicness ' as lit appears little effort/creativity was put into it. In all honesty it felt like a token vegetarian option. I eat a plant based diet and there are some simple, inexpensive creations that can be part of meals and these can be options for all, and cost effective. The staff and service was lovely, the atmosphere is great but as local to Builth I 'd like to support my community as much as possible, also I love eating out.

We have been visiting this venue for over 15 years now and the staff and service have always been exceptional. It is now about six months since we we last called in on our bi annual trip to North Wales. We really looked forward as usual to our mid day meal here and called in yesterday for lunch and ordered our food. When we sat at our table, we found that the table top was very sticky, so much so that my jumper stuck to the surface. We ordered Salmon and Dill fishcakes and when the food arrived, the fishcakes were just lukewarm. To be honest, it was very disappointing. The cwtch was suggested by Luke from a local pub that wasn't serving lunch so we took his advice and thank goodness we did! We had a lovely welcome from Lisa who said to sit wherever we liked so we chose the pretty, covered courtyard. Coffee came quickly and piping hot and then we looked at the menu. At first, we thought it may have been a wee bit pricey until our food arrived. I had the bacon, brie and cranberry baguette served with chips and salad with a dressing (homemade) which was to die for and it was huge and more than delicious.
