Exceptional atmosphere, great selection of beers, gins, other bar drinks, plus teas and coffees etc. Very good pub food menu, attractively served and delicious! Plus who'd a thot it? .. a take-awaynservice as well. A gem of a place.

A fantastic little country pub. A warm welcome to all of the family including our 6yo. Fantastically clean and warm inside. Lovely food. We had children’s/small fish and chips and burgers. We would definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

Came today for a dual birthday celebration, my wife I had the vegetarian roulade roast dinner, very pleasant it was too! I had the coffee and cake (flapjack) which was very tasty. I can recommend the dolphin! eating, drinking and service was exceptional. we had a meal at the weekend, had an amazing time and everyone sang the praise of the meal and the staff. good mix of pub classics and more modern styles; good quality, good price and looks like the menu is updated seasonal, which is always good to see. in any case worth a visit!

we were 6 miles away and found the dolphin on tripadvisor and saw it had great reviews, so we went to Sunday lunch. well worth visiting, they had booked a big party of about 18 people, for if we wanted to book, so we asked to come 30 minutes later what we did. the service was great of the time we arrived when we left the whole front of the house team, helped everything to ensure that we were searched and that eating was fantastic. I would recommend the dolphin inn it was great.

We recently visited a restaurant that is now called "The Ounce", possibly because it specializes in serving steak by the ounce. The menu is predominantly focused on steak, which I do not eat. However, there were a few other options such as vegetarian, baked salmon, and pork belly. I opted for the fish dish, which was very good. One of my companions enjoyed the pork belly, describing it as delicious, while the other two had the steak and thought it was great. Despite arriving on a Tuesday at 5pm without a reservation, we were fortunate enough to secure a table right away, although we were only able to stay until 7pm.
