Fantastic little Tavern with great food and service. Highly recommend

Excellent pub selling a huge range of regional beers not normally available in London. Food is good and reasonably priced. Good place for large groups.

Here I feel at home, I don't know about the food and the drinks, the toilets are so amazing I can even sleep there. I strongly recommend people to sleep there

The bartenders at this restaurant exhibit racist behavior. I visited on a Friday night and was ignored by the bartenders for 20 minutes in an all-white pub. Despite serving 8 other customers during that time, including a woman, I was the only person of color in the establishment and it became clear that they were prioritizing white customers over me. When I spoke up, I was ignored and the bartender tried to serve someone else before a man standing nearby advocated for me to be served next. I would not recommend this pub for non-white individuals.

My recent visit to Express Tavern on Christmas Day was nothing short of a nightmare. The service we encountered was at its absolute worst. Despite having a reservation, we were left waiting for an excruciatingly long time just to be acknowledged by the staff. It took ages to get our drinks, and we had to repeatedly ask for even the basics. What struck me the most was the overall lack of attentiveness and professionalism from the staff. Our recent Christmas Day experience at Express Tavern was deeply disappointing. Despite prior communication about dietary restrictions, the staff appeared unprepared and confused. This led to my husband consuming gluten, resulting in severe illness. What was even more concerning was the shocking customer service. The staff displayed a lack of professionalism and a complete disregard for our concerns. It seemed as if they had never worked a day in hospitality. To make matters worse, attempts to address the issue with the manager were met with indifference. We were overcharged by £90, and the manager's response only added to our frustration.
