Fish and chips for a fiver and it was excellent. Can’t make it at home for that. Swift pint too, thanks to staff.

Went in today for lunch was lovely food and was so nice to see it all done up looks really good very fast service and really nice staff

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's thirteenth birthday. She wanted to go to a "pub" and had a great time people watching. She has already asked if she can have her 18th birthday party here. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were all very helpful. Went on the refurb opening night. £15.35 for a double Bacardi and a double vodka and a tin of coke as there was no draft. You ain 't gonna last long at those prices. Foundry used to be seen as a cheap local place to go but I did some research and it seems they 're owned by a corporate chain now so that explains the stupid prices. Won 't be back again.

I walked into my usual pub for a birthday drink and was pleasantly surprised by the special decorations, including balloons, flowers, and Prosecco that the management had arranged for me. It was a nice touch to recognize a regular customer's birthday in such a lovely way. We also ordered some food, which was exceptional and prepared quickly. The chef, Mark, did a great job accommodating our dietary restrictions. We will definitely be returning to this pub.

We went to this restaurant because our usual spot was closed. We ordered fish and chips and waited quite a while for our food to arrive. When it did, my husband's dish looked beautiful, but mine was the complete opposite. The batter had slid off the fish and the fish itself was very dry with hardly any fish and a massive amount of batter. I struggled to even chew the little bit of fish that was there as it was extremely tough. I didn't take a picture, as I'm not one to do so. When the server came to clear the plates, he saw the mess on my plate but didn't ask about it. It was clear that my food had not been good. Speisekarte ansehen

I normally come in now and again during the evening for a couple drinks but I decided to have food tonight with the amazing £5 offer for January that is on and I must admit for what you get the offer is fantastic I chose to have the fish expecting it to be a small frozen breaded fish but instead I got a freshly battered fish the size of the plate and more I was amazingly surprised and it tasted lovely the service was speedy by Bailey and I believe my meal was cooked by Betty which came out really quick and very well presented the pub was also very well lit and very cosy and warm which was great as the weather is pretty cold with all the snow Thanks team Foundry

Went for lunch ordered tear and share garlic baguette which should have been stuffed with bacon salsa and topped with cheese what came was a shop bought garlic baguette with a tea spoon of cheese thrown on top 2 cube sized pieces of bacon on the plate and a bit of red we tuff on top (nothing stuffed about it and not effor at all put into it waited over half and hour for it to come as waitress had been to the table to tell us kitchen didn’t realise we wanted as a starter and had made the steaks also and asked if we would have both now and I said no could we please have as a stater and the steaks to come after we finished so afte let a disappointing starter out steak came med-well and had clea...

We went along to take advantage of their reopening special offer of a free meal with a newspaper voucher. Right from the off, the staff were helpful and explained the deal and procedure. Three of us ordered steaks, a rare, medium rare, and medium. All three were cooked to perfection. The steaks were large and melt in the mouth. It's probably the best steak I have had for a very long time. Our fourth member had the bog standard pub grub....Balmoral chicken, which she ate and enjoyed too. Again, they did not insult with the portion size. Service was pretty quick and efficient, too. Wine ranged from just under £14 for the house to under 20 quid for a bottle.. Both were decent.
