"Owner rude and arrogant! And you can’t trust them and they won’t make your order right by just saying too busy to make it right! I called in to make a booking but told no tables available but I could place an order for takeaway so I ordered two gluten free pizzas. I also asked what size are the gluten free pizza crust and was told 11”. I was told I would need to wait 1 hour 30 minutes and I agreed. I ordered the Gluten free 11 “ crust as advised for one Olive Tree and one Garlicky . When I arrived, I asked the person with the pizzas to confirm the gluten free pizzas. She looked a bit worried and said they were not gluten free. I asked the other girl if I would have to wait another 1.5 hrs and she said they would expedite my pizzas. The owner came over and said he had two vegan pizzas for 8:30 pm and I said that is not what I ordered. He said he was too busy to remake the pizzas. He said the girl that took the order said she didn’t remember gluten free was ordered. As a Celiac , those are the first words out of my mouth when I order any food and I also inquired the size of the gluten free crust and frequently they are pre-made and sealed and I was told they are 11”. He would not remake the pizzas as he said he has to trust his staff. So he implies the customer are lying and uses it as an excuse to not make it right. It doesn’t excuse not remaking the pizzas correctly as ordered gluten free as I was told a few minutes earlier. I assured him I ordered both pizzas gluten free and my wife came in and also confirmed as she heard me place the order on the phone. I realize this pizza must be well done and popular but not to remake the pizzas and imply me a liar and refusing to remake them is unprofessional. I find his behavior arrogant, rude and unprofessional and just because he went to Italy to learn how to make pizza doesn’t make him a good owner and manager. Hopefully, he won’t blow off this review but learn from it. Always make it right for your customers! And never insult your customers! It also suggest he doesn’t care about his customers because he is too busy. He walks away and just repeats he has to trust his employees. Poor excuse for not making the pizzas as ordered! Employees can make mistakes and as a Coeliac I will also double check as I did when I came to pick up the pizzas. I would advise Coeliacs to not try these pizzas as you can’t trust them to make them to your order. Peace be with you! Dietary restrictions You cannot trust this place to make your gluten free as ordered and they won’t remake it if they made it wrong and just say I have to trust my staff. Very Poor attitude from an owner and a bit arrogant! Customers don’t appear to be important and must be lying if they get an order wrong."

"Great value for money, and a fantastic discovery hidden in plain sight down a side road. Wasn't sure what to expect but the tudor ? lined wall matched up as a lovely surprise with really well cooked food. Mackerel tacos were super fresh, pork belly was unctuous and the desserts looked amazing. Obviously popular with some regular diners, the word needs to get out there to the rest of Exeter Only downside is that it might not be the easiest of venues to access for those with limited mobility and the acoustics meant that we heard a lot of other peoples conversations although they may just have been very loud ."

"We went to Harry's for the first time in many years on November it was fabulous nothing was too much trouble the food was devine, I had lobster and cheese shuffle my husband had a Tbone steak ..This time we were so excited to have booked on March our wedding anniversary, I had the same as last time except I also tried the rock chips... The food was nice the lobster was a little over done but I still enjoyed it, the shuffle wasn't a patch on the one in November it was tasteless and didn't look like a shuffle the presentation wasn't great, this time my husband's steak although tasty was very tough... We didn't complain as the food was still good just not fabulous as it was before. Still would give this restaurant another go."

"simply fantastic! hidden over this jewel by complete accident. I received a warm welcome when I went from a wet and windy afternoon to the door. A fine selection of well kept real ales are supplemented by large dips prepared in an open kitchen. I had the finest piece of fish for my lunch I can ever remember eating. the fish was preceded by a warm artichoke salad that was delicious. is that a good thing? I hear they ask. No, I've eaten two classes in lunch at £10."

"Can 't comment on the food because it was never delivered. Will comment on the disgusting service from Typedong.. The man at the restaurant Howard when asked if they would be stopping other deliveries requests from Just East being made said it was not their problem if other people did not get their ordered food too. Will never pay money to this restaurant again. I had wanted to support a local restaurant rather than a larger brand.. I now have try to claw back the money for an unfulfilled service fromt the delivery company. Merry Xmas Typedong. for your rubbish pre Xmas gift. Seriously unimpressed."
