Will definitely eat here again. Food was really good and great service. Took family who havent been to Brentwood before and they loved it. One of our favourite pubs anyway but will now regularly eat there too.

This charming countryside pub in a picturesque setting is a hidden gem. The Sunday lunch was delicious and the attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting this lovely pub.

Great food and nice waitress but at 10 o’clock couldn’t wait to get rid of us and made our group of five feel really uncomfortable. This despite spending £180 with a tip. Will never eat here again and made to fell an inconvenience. Speisekarte ansehen

We had a fantastic experience at this pub, with great service and delicious food. Despite our large group with babies, kids, hangovers, and nut allergies, the staff were incredibly accommodating. The food was excellent, the drinks were fantastic, and the team provided top-notch service.

I celebrated my birthday with my family at this restaurant and had a great experience. Some of us are picky eaters, but our server Shannon was wonderful and very attentive. She was willing to accommodate all of our requests. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and we will definitely return in the future.

The steak and mushroom pie in red wine sauce was absolutely incredible! It's rare that I can't finish a dessert because the main course was so satisfying, but that was the case here. The cherry pie on the dessert menu caught my eye as soon as I walked in. We both ordered the pie, but the duck dish also looked amazing as it was served to other diners. Booked this pub for dinner with some friends, there were 6 of us in total. None of us had been there before but we were looking forward to trying somewhere new. The staff were so lovely to us all, very attentive and friendly. As soon as we walked in they were there to sit us down and anything we asked for wasn’t too much. I would like to make a special thanks to the manager, Gary, who made us all feel extremely welcome and had a lovely chat with us at the bar after our meal. The food was delicious and they catered very well for my friends with allergies (nuts and gluten). We will definitely be returning this is our new spot!

We were a large booked in for a family lunch on a Saturday. We hadnt realised that the table was on a 2 hour turnaround, usually for tables over 8 you get a little bit more time. The staff were absolutely brilliant and we ended up having the table for an extra hour which was great. This is were the positives end. The food was awful, a few of us had the steak and mushroom pie with mash (the special of the day). The mash was dry and lumpy and lacked any seasoning, vegetables over boiled and bland and the steak was like leather. Others had the ploughmans which they said was meh at best. I can't believe we were refused service before we even placed an order! My friends and I went to the pub earlier tonight to have a couple of non-alcoholic drinks as we were all driving, and to meet up with some other friends to watch the England game. The barmaid, who is usually unfriendly, immediately approached us and informed us that we were not allowed to be served and were banned from the establishment. She didn't provide any explanation other than saying that the manager had banned us, even though we had never met them and they weren't around.
