the greyhound is located on the village green, is a beautiful small English pub. warm, welcoming and friendly service. generally dozed stockplates and a decent £5 lunch menu.

Good chips and a pleasant dining room upstairs. The outdoor area at the back is also quite nice. It's still pub grub, but it's decent! And the waiters were always nice when we visited.

with my cucumber for a freches beer, nasty oil, table service well, personal arrived free tachos, of course we stayed for a second pint, loveslocation, dawn over green, beautiful from pub window.

great sunday roast. had the fried pork bauch nicely cooked, delicate swan with crispy, delicious cracks. beautiful staff, beautiful venue and atmosphere. frightening for the deep fried petersnip had never that with a roast before and will definitely try me.

The booking process and communication can be very difficult. Recommend you call to secure a booking rather than email. Sunday Ultimate Sharing Board is incredible, plenty of meat, really tasty and I'd definitely go back for that alone. Quite a small pub but loads of space out the back with heating and cover from the rain

Lovely dining room and food beautifully presented however the beef was rather tough and unpalatable which was disappointing. My roast pepper tomato soup was tasty but my friend ordered mussels and I'd almost finished my soup when the waiter said that there were no more mussels left. Perhaps the kitchen was just having an off day.

If you come here I’d recommend booking for lunch rather than dinner. We had a 6pm booking and they had run out of cauliflower cheese and roasties they didn’t tell us this before the food came. We were also sat outside in the cold and there was no atmosphere. The booths have heaters but everyone sat outside that was freezing. The food that did come was really tasty though so maybe we were just unlucky!

The staff, food, and service were all excellent at this restaurant. The roast sharing platters we ordered were adjusted to accommodate our group and were served with delicious sides. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We were lucky to have a great window table in the upstairs restaurant with a view overlooking the green. It was a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I would highly recommend this place.
