My favorite spot for a Sunday carvery! They serve from 12 PM to 7 PM, with adult portions priced at £13.95 and extra-large portions at £15.95. It never fails to impress!

Great lical pub with a very attentive team. Quiz nights Weds is a cracker 2 for 1 Tuesdays are fab on the pocket. You gotta try it. Sun spot too in the Summer sat outside in their beer garden.

Crisp in my drink and grubby floor. Very unimpressed. 3 staff on by really slow service. Table needed wiping and discarded serviettes and bits on the floor. Bring back the Almonds. Won’t be back. Speisekarte ansehen

We were seated fairly quickly on a busy Tuesday evening. The service is a little slow but our food arrived hot. We had to go to the bar to pay as there was no one around to take another drink order/request. I'd return.

Credit where credit is due!!! Now I am the biggest chicken wing fan on earth!! I just had THE BEST chicken wings I have ever had here tonight. My second best thing is a Sunday roast. I am just making my way through the turkey Sunday roast and I felt I should take a moment to write this review... It's f**king amazing!!! The whole place is incredible. From the staff to the setting. In love.... Would definitely recommend!!!

I visited this pub a few years ago and thought it was a nice place with a good carvery. When I went back a couple of weeks ago, I found it to be friendly and noticed the new owners are genuinely trying to make it succeed. The food was lovely, and the staff were very helpful. I think some of the recent reviews are a bit overly critical—I'm not sure what the reviewers are after, but I will definitely be returning to support this new business! Speisekarte ansehen

Awful customer service. Had a booking and seated us right next to the carvery section. Was far too hot to sit and enjoy a meal there. I even explained my husband has a medical condition and can’t get too hot. Refused to move us to another table even though the pub was quiet and so many tables were empty. They could have easily swapped tables. Wasn’t accommodating at all. I explained if they couldn’t re-seat us we would leave an go somewhere else. They didn’t and we’re happy to lose customers.

We read all the reviews but decided to give this restaurant a shot anyway. That turned out to be a mistake. Half of the menu was unavailable by 8 PM on a Friday. The dishes we did get came on very hot plates, while the vegetables were cold and served in a small colander. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and the gravy had the taste, smell, and appearance of Oxo. The turkey pie, while hot and featuring a light pastry, had a similar Oxo-like flavor. The wine was mediocre and quite pricey. Our meal ended up costing over £70 for two people, including two bottles of wine. The restaurant was half empty, even with the England World Cup match being aired.

Got turned away because we hadn't made a booking yet only a couple of tables had reserved signs on them, lots of empty tables and a completely empty beer garden. For a new business I find it crazy that you are literally turning money away. A few other people also commented on how bad the carvery was saying that we had had a lucky escape being turned away. We did put this on your Facebook page but instead of replying to us you decided to delete the comments, strange way of dealing with customer complaints. If it's bookings only then simply mention this on your social media but when there are plenty of empty tables surely you'd prefer paying customers sat on them. Speisekarte ansehen
