"The staff are both amazing, friendly and caring. My father died on June 26th. I recently spent a few nights out there sitting alone. Zoey, who finished work this evening, came to me, told me when I need to talk that they and the staff are there. How wonderful is that?! I must have told her the day before, but she remembered. That says so much about this community pub. A welcoming pub with wonderful staff. This young lady has a huge heart, please take care of her Highway Pub. Stuart x"

Great value for money at £6.45 for a Sunday lunch. I had the vegan nut roast, which was delicious. The portion sizes were generous and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be returning!

Today’s specials included roasted nuts and a cauliflower tart, but I opted for the vegan lasagna. It was hot, delicious, and went perfectly with the garlic bread. My companion had the Sunday roast, which was also very good. I will definitely return, and the prices were just right. Great job, team!
