The Horseshoes - Speisekarte

Ambience very pleasant, menu varied and good, could not fail error-free service. Anyway, it'll be back.

We arrived at the restaurant in the early evening and discovered that several items on the menu had already sold out by 7pm.

Normally love eating here but service was very very slow and the food was passable. The restaurant was empty except for one other table, so no excuse for slow service.

its about 6 miles from home, but one of the best good off road parking is a plus. Food is good as is the service normally they lost a drinks order on sunday, but its an exception to the normal standards

The fish cakes are consistently delicious. The chicken leek pie had a thick and hard-to-cut pastry, but the flavor was enjoyable. The restaurant was not very busy that day, so there were few staff members available to help with additional drink orders.

We visited this pub several times and the food is generally good. On a busy Saturday night the place was a bit loud, but that was only to be expected. All four of us enjoyed our meal, the portion size was good and the service was good. Recommended if you are looking for a cheap gastropub.

A girls four meet up for food and a chat. Service was good as we were not in a rush. We love sitting in the conservatory, as it has nice views and it's not as dark as main pub. The only downside on that particular day was that one of the ladies toilets was leaking water all over the floor and no one had put an alert sign on the door. Other than that, it was great!!

Thanks for the great service and fantastic food. As it turned out, this was our last meal before closing and was a great place to celebrate my birthday. We visited The Horseshoes on New Year's Eve and found the food to be delicious, just as it had been on our two previous visits. However, we encountered some issues with the service. We were not informed that there was a set menu and the lamb was already sold out. Additionally, our starters were mistakenly given to the table next to us, who had ordered the same dishes. This resulted in a delay in receiving our starters. When our main meals arrived, the starter plates had not been cleared and my steak was cold.
