Beautiful location and perfect breakfast, whether veggie or standard option. Good coffee too. Consistently a ten out of ten cooked breakfast and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Visited here when staying at the on site campsite. Had a great family breakfast worth a visit in its own right if you're passing an want a place where the kids can run around. It has a small playground, and goats and chickens for the kids to look at.

Having ridden from Portsmouth, 10 thirsty and hungry riders arrived at The Hub and what a find! So much space; great staff, good coffee and the sausage sandwich was a sight to behold. I was excited to try this restaurant after watching the Hotel Inspector, but the food was a letdown. The poached eggs were overcooked and the toast was drowned in an excessive amount of spinach, resulting in a soggy mess. The cooked breakfast was lukewarm and lacked flavor. The only saving grace was the good coffee.

Visited a few times and always seems a steady flow of customers. Was fairly busy on the bank holiday but managed to sit inside and dogs aloud. Ordered at bar staff very polite and drinks food arrived swiftly. Food was delicious a Bodiam sausage sandwich, fish finger sandwich and a sausage roll. Will return sometime in the near future.

What a night! Visited here after a staff outing to Epic Life (at the same location, also awesome! for dinner and drinks for our staff outing. Food and drinks were fantastic, staff were lovely and the setting is just the most perfect spot. The actual building itself is beautiful and very well-maintained.All in all, a perfect night out. During our walk on the Bodiam 5-mile circular route, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise as it wasn't mentioned in our directions. We enjoyed a perfect cappuccino, a delicious dairy-free coffee and walnut cake, and a fresh homemade flapjack. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, and there was plenty of shade and indoor seating available. Overall, it was a bonus to find a place that does coffee and cake so well.

We had a fantastic weekend at The River Camp at The Hub with a group of 11 moms and 17 children. The campsite is beautiful, situated next to the river and surrounded by fields with a view of Bodiam Castle. The kids, ranging from ages 3 to 11, had a great time swimming, paddle boarding, playing football, exploring the woods, and having a BBQ. The communal table with a large BBQ was perfect, and the showers and toilets were clean and convenient. We also had breakfast at The Hub cafe before leaving, and despite being busy, our meals were delicious and served quickly. Everyone in our group agreed that this was the best campsite we have visited, and we can't wait to go back.

I visited the Hub several times last summer for meet ups with friends and found it to be friendly and chilled even when busy. Today was my first visit since last year and something has definitely changed. The staff are still very friendly and kind and helpful, but they seemed quite overwhelmed and were very busy. The menu is foody and not overly simple food which is fine but then it has the price tag associated. We waited quite a long time for our food (over half an hour for a sausage roll) but it was nice; didn't feel like a lot of food for the money, but maybe that's me having a wrong impression of value for money.My main concern was the flies inside the cafe.
