"now, what can I say, absolutely perfect service and amazing eating from the newly renovated hunter inn! the pub in its old form with the previous owners was dated in past and very dated. the new owners gave him a fantastic new face and really warm and welcoming feeling. I went tonight with my family and we were greeted by one of the owners and shown on our table really fast and really polite. my daughter has an evil food allergy and they were so courteous and did everything they could to ensure that it was clear what were suitable or they could adapt! eating was amazing, really delicious and really good portions. it was clear that the hunters put on their word on the menu and used local, good quality food! there was a short waiting time for the food, but long enough it was cooked well and no microwave surprise. my daughter and her allergy was well cared for, as I said, and she absolutely loved her eating and the decoration (we played eye spy! the price was very good for the quality of the food we had. yes, other buttons could be cheaper, but that's because it's all frozen garbage without effort. all the food we had was clear fresh and the cooks have given us a great meal. we have pointed out that together with the search for our allergy needs they had many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. the hunters have a great atmosphere, great renovation and their clear, the owners are really looking to be part of the community and not only recommend another chain-tree hole!"

I had a fantastic birthday lunch at this restaurant with amazing staff. The price per person was between £20-30 and the food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, receiving a perfect score of 5.

Met 6 friends for lunch on a chilly and very wet rainy day. Service was friendly and very good, and the lunch specials very reasonably priced, which is welcome these days. Two gentlemen were enjoying sausage and mash which in retrospect we should have ordered as looked tempting and appetising, nevertheless our desserts were delicious. Apple crumble with custard, and one chocolate cheese cake, all generous and in fact too much to finish. This pub is very good value for money, we would come again, our only minor downside would be that for us, at least the place wasn't warm enough but it was a very chilly day and we are all getting on in years!
