"I had been looking forward to dining here for quite some time, and while it certainly was an experience, the food and service did not meet my expectations. I was with a group of ten, and the noise level in the restaurant was so high that I could barely hear the person next to me, let alone my guest at the end of the table. Additionally, the cocktail waiter at the bar seemed disinterested, and it took over 40 minutes to receive our cocktails, despite the bar being relatively empty. If you're seeking an authentic dining experience, this place may be worth a visit, but I won’t be in a hurry to return."

Our experience at the India Club was unfortunately marred by poor service. After being seated, we waited 45 minutes for our drinks, and the service continued to be sluggish throughout the meal. Easy to miss from the street, so keep your eyes peeled. We went on a Saturday night and it was buzzing. Greeted and seated straight away. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The best part was the price. Such great value. It's a no frills establishment but the best Indian restaurant I have been to outside of India.

I hope this lovely place survives the encroachment of developers. It is part of the ever disappearing history of London and deserves to remain. It is shabby and run down, a reminder that this City didn't always give priority to blocks of slick, ugly office buildings and had a pride in its heritage. And the food! Wonderful Indian cooking, delicious and colourful and at affordable prices. You cannot get better anywhere. I believe they are crowd funding in order to survive their fight against a developer. Let's help them everyone! London needs to keep places like this.
