Absolutely fantastic bakery! Delicious and filling. Staff is super-friendly. So many lovely choices we had to get take away for lunch as well!

The Isle of Skye Baking Company is closed (see picture posted to door). We were disappointed to drive over to the Isle of Skye Baking Company to find that they are closed.

Yummy baked good! A great selection of gluten free and vegan options (ingredients listed which is really helpful for any dietary requirements). The chap that served us was very friendly too! Would recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

We bought two lunch breads at the ‘Thunder in the Glen’ to have when we got home. We heated them up but found them to be 3” to 4” of bread with very little filling. Disappointing; too much bread not enough filling.

The only do take away, and also happens to be an art shop. It is open Wednesday to Friday: 10am – 4:15pm. There is also a wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park. Only scones were available and choices very limited. Looks like they have not fully recovered from Covid as potential is massive for them

Unwelcoming, freezing, selection of food limited and too outlandish. Only scones available were feta olive. Girl making coffee got order wrong and it was only 2 coffees. Hot chocolate stuck to bottom of cup. Sitting in and it was paper cups. Whilst biodegradable washing a china cup is more eco friendly. No Wi-Fi. Could not recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

This place is amazing.. even though it's not in the center of Portree, it is totally worth the visit. I can't eat gluten and here I found so many gluten free options. Cakes, pastries, beverages,.. there are some tables and you can eat there as well. I got the gluten free carrot cake (first time I tried it and it was delicious) and a chocolate cake.. they both were awesome, definitely recommended!

Fantastic Scone and Service! Popped in this morning when they opened and bought beautiful cheese scones and some homemade jams. Spoke to a gentlemen (possibly owner) who was warm, friendly and funny. It’s clear that he and the staff really care about the produce and have probably had a difficult couple of years with the pandemic. Stop in you will find something for you as they have a fantastic selection. Easy to find and park and much better than any chain bakery or grocery store!

Stunned to get this response from the lady serving! Eh?? This was a last resort in an attempt to get something appetising to takeaway just after lunch time. Nothing appealed though why I was surprised I don 't know, as I 've never been impressed with the offerings here. I got a slap on the wrist for my poor review last time so not doubt another skelp will head my way for not being impressed again. We 're so used to great sourdough loaves, cakes, pastries elsewhere that surely somewhere as busy as Skye can support a better 'artisan ' bakery than this? Speisekarte ansehen
