Very nice staff, brilliant location, lovely food and drinks, reasonable prices, highly recommended

a great location with magnificent views of the landscape from the back garden. the staff was very friendly and attentive eating well with a large selection.

Every time I come here, they have new and delicious vegan options, never the same old stuff! Recently I had a delicious pasta court and then Keksteig with honeycomb ice cream for dessert. It was divine.

Didn’t book but that wasn’t a problem, even when we turned up with two young loud kids… service was great from then onwards. Food was amazing. Although there are other pubs more kid friendly (play area) will def go back oh and when I slightly over paid the waitress, she pointed out my mistake… thanks for the honesty!!

Beautiful setting in a large high ceiling dining room, open kitchen to see the chefs and wood fired pizza oven. The food is good quality fresh ingredients and cooked from scratch great vegetarian options and a super excellent good value kids menu of high quality food. Plus, when you go for a Sunday roast they will serve extra veges if you need more, you just need to ask.

visited with my three children, 4,7 and 8 years old. they can be a pain in the arsenic when they go for something to eat, but the service we received was excellent, nothing was too much annoyed, and the chaos that my children have made seemed not to disturb them a bit though they were busy. shout on the server, nikki and the girl with black hair and black glasses. we all had a really nice evening and eating was also good.

such a great experience today. we expected a roast with our one-year-old. we had no reservation, but thought we would try our luck. even if they were fully booked, they found us a nice table directly away. we were helped the stairs by a friendly staff called jay when we had a child car, and we waited for dani and nikki. Not only was that really great eating, also the child meal, the staff was amazing! so patient with our daughter, perfectly polite and welcoming. the decor is also really beautiful. a nice visit. will definitely come back with small child in tow

Don't really understand how this place works?! We came in for lunch and proceeded to sit at one of the many unoccupied tables. Seeing that no one came to us and assuming we needed to go the bar to be served, my wife did so only to be told that they were not accepting walk-in customers. My wife then whipped out her mobile to make an immediate online booking since there were clearly available tables such as the one we were occupying already. But the booking site only showed availability for future times, showing no availability for the current time. Therefore we could not book and sadly had to leave without lunch. A lovely location on the high street. The inside decor is very nice and would be a fantastic spot for drinks in the summer. We were lucky to be given the private side room for our large party. The service was very good and our waitress was very attentive, given it was her first time serving a large party. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We were expecting gastro pub level food given the menu description and prices. But the food was more in keeping with The Harvester or a Greene Man pub. For example, beef brisket croquettes had minimal beef and I couldn’t even taste the brisket. The burger buns were soggy, burger patty’s were burnt and had no flavour, the seabass was dry and covered...
