I stopped by just for a drink and found the place quite unwelcoming. There was hardly anywhere to sit since all the tables were reserved for dining. Despite many tables being empty and not reserved until later, I felt a bit restricted. Ratings: Food: 3, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 3.

"It’s a decent place. They have igloos for seating, but they could use some upkeep since there was some water coming in after the heavy rainfall. Everything else was satisfactory. The service was fair; it was only the server’s second or third shift. Being a Wednesday, you can’t really expect much ambiance at a pub during the middle of the week. Overall, I had a nice time. This review is very delayed due to one thing or another but I absolutely had to leave one. I booked a table for approx 20 people for a Thursday evening in early September for a surprise birthday meal and I am so impressed with the service we got from all of the staff, and the food at The Kings Head. This was our first visit here after hearing lots of good things. We provided as many pre orders ahead of time as possible to help the kitchen on the night, but there were a few people that were unable to get them back to us but it really made no difference all the food was absolutely gorgeous, so tasty and freshly made, the whole party was so impressed!
