Great service received throughout visit Ethan, Kelsey and Alex are so friendly; immediately make you feel at home and make sure any needs are attended to. Totally recommend the Beef Bon Bons a perfect Lancastrian meal! Thank you!!

Dined in the lounge as a family of four (2adults and 2 older children). I like how the restaurant has a smart but relaxed vibe about it. We took advantage of the two for one burger offer which was good value. We all enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Pic is of the ‘warm Belgian waffles with hot fudge sauce and Malteser ice cream’.

Visited on Friday evening for a family catch up. Took advantage of the 2 for 1 fish and chips offer. All 4 of us commented on how lovely and fresh the cod was, with equally amazing batter. The chips, as always, were great. One comment would be the bread and butter was bread and marg, you can tell the difference. No room for dessert, but would love to try next time. No issues, highly recommended, especially for 2 for 1 deal.

We all enjoyed a family meal at the Lounge in January (4 adults). Staff were really lovely and it was a cosy setting. The purple mood lighting in there is lovely! Lots of choice on the menu for all- we enjoyed a selection of different food including; garlic bread, popcorn chicken, prawn cocktail, fish chips, burger and beef tacos. All food was served to an excellent standard and we enjoyed our meal. Thank you all! See you again soon!

The service we received from the staff was extremely lackadaisical. We had to go up to the bar to inquire about our drinks as they were taking an unusually long time. The server I spoke to asked for our drink order again, even though it had already been taken at our table. Eventually, a different waitress brought us the incorrect beverages, which had to be exchanged. Surprisingly, our food was served before the correct drinks arrived. Despite the subpar service, the food was delicious.

First visit in a while but the food in the past as always been good..unfortunately last night wss very disappointing. Firstly our pina coladas which were made together were so different..one was perfect the other not..Next the fish pie which used to be packed with good chunks of fish was just tiny flakes..literally had to fish through the sauce to find anyyhing .The buttermilk chicken was deep fried chicken in breadcrumbs Not the same as in thd past. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.

I was extremely disappointed with the fish pie at the restaurant last night. It is usually delicious, but last night I had trouble finding any actual fish in it. Instead of the usual chunks of fish, there were only tiny flakes of white fish and salmon. It felt like I was just eating mashed potatoes and sauce. Additionally, we ordered two pina coladas that were made by the same bartender at the same time, but they looked and tasted completely different. One of them was missing an ingredient. Overall, it was not a great dining experience.

My husband made a reservation for my birthday, and I was very disappointed with the birthday meal we had at The Lounge. We usually frequent Bertram’s or Wilfred’s but decided to try something new. We were greeted and seated quickly, and our drink order was taken promptly. The service for drinks was the highlight of the evening. However, the staff did not seem enthusiastic about their work. While I don't expect extravagant gestures, I do expect a pleasant attitude when serving customers, especially on special occasions. The food we had for starters and main course was delicious. When my main course arrived, I requested mayonnaise, but it never came. The staff seemed more focused on other task...

My birthday treat with family, 8 of us, 6 having afternoon tea, and my two grandsons aged 14 and 11 off the menu. TBH the thing that marred the event was lack of care by one member of staff. We were not asked if we wanted tea or coffee with the Afternoon Tea, in fact one of my daughters enquired at the bar after we’d finished if tea was included. She was told it was but we should have ordered it? The table was left full of empty plates etc for quite a while and we felt that one of the staff just didn’t care and was quite rude. A young lady with a ponytail and a young man that served us with our Afternoon Tea trays and took them away were lovely, but the occasion was marred a little by this o...
