Had a lovely family evening at the Malthouse. Food was nicely presented and was delicious. The pub has some nice ales and the wine was also very nice. Service was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent service and food presentation and quality! New venue for our Book Club and everyone was pleased with their food and ambience of the place! Will definitely be returning and also booking Christmas meal, highly reccomend!

Stopped in on the off-chance on Saturday lunchtime. Received a very friendly welcome. Really liked the lunchtime meal option, which is a two-thirds version of the full evening meal at two-thirds of the price. Exactly what we wanted, and a great idea. Went to the Malthouse this evening for an unplanned meal, and was really pleased with the food offerings, value for money and excellent service from bar staff, mainly Sean who couldn't do enough for us, probably the best service we've had for a meal out in Andover. Food wise, I would definitely recommend the speciality lamb and mint burger quality was fantastic!

Five of us came today for Sunday lunch, was excellent. Lovely meat roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding, proper fresh veg, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and green beans and gorgeous cauliflower cheese and gravy. Five roast beef dinners, three desserts, two bottles of wine and three pints of lager £108 .... excellent value. Big shout to Sean and the other waitress (sorry didn't get her name) friendly, attentive and worked really hard and nothing was too much trouble and of course the chef. 10/10 could not fault a thing, highly recommended.

First visit to this pub for a long time and will be coming back more frequently going forwards. The menu has a full range of unashamedly British food, that you grew up being served every night by your boomer mother. Eating this food is both a tasty meal and it warms the heart with a flood of memories of happy family dinners. It’s becoming a rare find, to walk into an independent pub in the UK, with a traditional home cooked menu like this and at very good prices. Whether you are ordering from the dining menu or from the bar menu, the value on offer is exceptional. A once classic Andover pub that was ruined with poncy previous ownership, is now fighting back with the current ownership by brin... Speisekarte ansehen
