"I've had some of the most uninspiring food in years at this restaurant. I ordered the ultimate burger, and while I’m not usually one to complain about waiting, when your meal arrives faster than it would at a busy McDonald's, that's a red flag. The bun was squished and seemed poorly defrosted. There was also a strange pulled pork topping that I wasn’t expecting. The coleslaw was soggy, and I only received two tiny onion rings. This meal was twice the price of what I’d pay at a Wetherspoons, yet the quality was nowhere near comparable (and let’s be honest, Wetherspoons isn’t exactly fine dining). On a positive note, the coffee and brownie were enjoyable. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

Few gluten free options. No dedicated fryer for chips. Had to order kids food off adult menu as kids menu couldn't be adapted (apart from tomato pasta which was pitiful) used to be a great place but won't be back. Manageress attitude was 'take it or leave it'

Offers a gluten free Sunday roast menu . This is a new option on their menu which is part of the Greene King chain . Helpful knowledgeable staff . Choice of meats . Not carvery . I had a chargrilled chicken breast. Generous portion . Selection of plated veg and gf Yorkshire pudding too . No Ill effects after . Would happily go back .

Had a great chilled Saturday afternoon with friends and our dog. Cosy, warm and very welcoming. Our server Danielle seen to all our needs and certainly went over and beyond! Even the dog got spoilt. Food was 10/10 and the portion size was just right.looking forward to our next visit over the festive season. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ok. The kids Make your own Sundae should be renamed. As it came pre-made rather than allowing kids to maker it up as they prefer. Surely the whole frikkin point of calling it make your own . Response on querying this was a dismissive yeah that 's it . Disappointed kid as everywhere else that does a make your own dessert actually fits the description Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

"Pleasant environment and staff were efficient. I ordered the special ciabatta with chicken and bacon, alongside a flat white coffee. The ciabatta seemed a little on the small side to me, though in observing the other clientele, I was probably a little out of place to be honest that includes my appetite. In my opinion Willows seems more geared towards 'ladies who lunch ', high teas maybe, or cocktails before the theatre. I 'm more of a messy plate of dirty fries with a burger kind of guy... if you know what I mean, and I certainly don 't mean any disrespect with that observation. The ciabatta was good and flavourful. The salad was very good and varied, the dressing was nice and rich too. I enjoyed the coffee and the final price, between 10 and 11 pounds was reasonable and expected. Accessibility wise, there is seating outdoors but there are steps inside to reach other parts of the restaurant. The chairs and tables may turn into obstacles for wheelchair users, particularly solo users, because they are quite close together. I 'd recommend booking ahead to help the staff prepare a good table if you have any accessibility requirements. Personally, I did feel a little out of place at Willows, but that was more of an observation than any true feeling of discomfort. I will keep Willows in mind if I go to lunch with a girl I want to impress, for example, and I 'd definitely recommend it for anyone wanting afternoon coffee, cakes, or a cocktail before the theatre etc."
