"Four of us just returned from three days walking part of the Jurassic Coast. Stayed at a wonderful small hotel; The Chesil Beach Manor House at West Bexington. It is located just 100-m or so off the national trail. The manager Steve, Lucas and the rest of the small team created a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Beds very comfortable and the rooms nice and quiet. Food menu different for a pub and excellent quality. So was the wine list, gins and whiskies. Recommend the South African Chenin Blanc together with the fish pie. The prices were below average. We should know as we have stayed in many the last 5 years walking the national trails. My only reservation is writing this review. Now you know. Perhaps I should have kept it a secret."

A nice old hotel tucked away above Chesil Beach. Great food and very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of parking too.

Fantastic Sunday lunch served by delightful staff. As it was Mothering Sunday, all of the ladies were given flowers, picked from the Manor’s garden, which was a very nice touch. Will definitely return.

This restaurant is truly wonderful, with its terrace and gardens perched on a hill with a stunning view of Chesil beach. It's a perfect spot to visit on a warm summer day. Although it may be a bit pricey, the food is excellent.

The hotel was excellent with many charming and unique features, offering great views of the bay. The room was comfortable and we had a restful night's sleep. The staff was friendly and professional, and the breakfast was delicious.

Stayed here for a couple of night, on arrival hosts were very friendly as we arrived early we had something to eat and the food was delicious. Overall the staff were wonderful and very attentive and couldn’t ask for more. Room First Class

Another excellent experience at this hotel that we've been visiting regularly for over twenty years; the rooms are clean, comfortable and well-appointed; staff are friendly and helpful; breakfast menu extensive and good selection of dishes served in the cosy cellar bar in the evening; overall a most enjoyable stay and good value for money.

The restaurant is situated in a stunning location with immaculately kept gardens. The staff was very friendly and overall, it is a nice hotel, although there are some areas for improvement. The breakfast was too oily, the tea bags seemed to be low quality as my tea lacked color, and no fruit was offered. The service was pleasant but could benefit from some assistance. For dinner, the starter was excellent and my fish pie was delicious. However, the portion of seasonal vegetables included only frozen peas and fresh carrots was quite small.
