Food was delicious, service was great, stylish place reasonably priced for the quality of food. It is a shame that the wine and dine menu can't accommodate odd numbers but we worked round it.

Impromptu visit after recommendation from a local car garage...what a good recommendation too. Lovely pub, good food and really excellent service. what else can you ask for, will be coming back!

Excellent Sunday roast with reasonable prices too. The Yorkshire pudding was definitely showing off on my plate!! I enjoyed every bit including fresh vegetables and amazing gravy, though I wanted more gravy. Sat inside the restaurant but you can sit outside also, highly recommend making a booking online it was very busy. I look forward to my next visit.

Service was prompt and staff were friendly but we were left disappointed with 5 of the 6 dishes we were served. Firstly the child’s pasta dish arrived in a plate described by the waitress as ‘extremely hot to touch’ which we felt was highly inappropriate for a two year old. Two people ordered the celeriac dish from the limited vegetarian options because the description sounded delicious. When it arrived there were 4 wedges of cold, undercooked celeriac, 1.5 raw shallots and uncooked , raw, mushrooms, not what we would expect for £17.25 and certainly not representing the description of ‘roasted celeriac steak, caramelised shallots and mixed exotic mushrooms with house pesto. We'd booked a table for lunch outside on a Saturday we were visiting the famous wall paintings in in the village for heritage weekends, and wanted something close by. When we arrived there was clearly too much going on for the staff to cope with there was a wedding in part of the restaurant area meaning you had to walk right around the building to get to the outside tables or back in to order and use the toilets. There was also, separate to the wedding, a private party with an exceptionally noisy sound system and DJ in the garden.
