"Twenty-one of us went to a Christmas dinner at this restaurant. I had the pate for the appetizer, the three meat dish for the main course, and Christmas fare for dessert. I couldn't fault anything from the food to the service. One of our children accidentally spilled their drink on their dinner, and the waitress promptly replaced it without any issues. Yesterday, I visited The Millgate with some friends I hadn't seen since last year. The staff was friendly, as always, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful too!

Just had a Sunday roast with my husband , Absolutely lovely lean meat no fatty bits , perfect veg roasties gravy was perfect ???? one of the best carvery dinners we’ve had in eons ???????? thanks guys x

We held our aunt's wake here on Monday, July 26, and the buffet was excellent with plenty of food. The staff, mostly young, were incredibly helpful and polite. They make a fantastic team! I'm already looking to book a 50th celebration for October. Speisekarte ansehen

Went in for Pie Tuesday. £10 for pie chips and peas and a pint included bargain. I would recommend the mushroom and brie pie delicious ???? All Covid rules observed. Well done to the management and staff for creating a safe environment to enjoy a meal and a drink. ????
