"Visited on New Year’s Eve as a last minute change of plan, although it was a little busy we did wait a long time for them to take our order. Waited over half an hour to even be acknowledged and had to ask for them to take a drinks order and get a menu. Not the best service! No ice in the drinks, my beer seemed a little flat. As I said they were a little busy so just left it at that, starters arrived which were to their usual decent standard. When the mains came 1 of the party ordered a sizzler which I’m afraid to say was not sizzling, all the rest was ok. This is not my first visit to this restaurant and it’s just little things that keep just letting it down from being a good place in my opinion. The service and issues will not stop me from going again I will give them another go as the owners are really pleasant."

I have been visiting the Milon restaurant since 1976 and was there last night. It was a fantastic meal as usual with great service and a lovely ambience. We can't wait for our next visit. And the prices are very reasonable for the quality that is served. Gem of a place in our area.

Just cancelled our table for 2 for friday 14th.we booked it almost a week ago but strangely had a call from the restaurant tonight 11 feb asking if we want to book a table for the 14th..I explained that we already have..he confirmed this and then said he needed a £20 deposit over the phone..I told him to cancel.he then said I could call in the restaurant to pay the deposit if I wanted.i again told him to cancel..he asked me to hold the line but I ended the call.i have previously been called by a restaurant a few days before our booking to confirm we are still dining there on the arranged date but never been called for a deposit a week after we had actually booked .haha
