"If you are looking for a warm and welcoming pub with fantastic food, look no further than The Cross Keys in Darfield. From the moment you step inside, you'll feel like you're part of the family! The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, with a rustic decor that perfectly matches the pub's charming character. Dan and his team are incredibly friendly and attentive and go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. Every dish on the menu is made with care and attention to detail. Their Sunday roasts are delicious, as well as their evening meals, and the homemade desserts are a must have! We have been to their wine and gin-tasting evenings which are great nights out either as a couple or with friends. They also have Thursday quiz nights which are lots of fun and plenty of prizes to win! Overall, we can't recommend this family-run pub enough. It's the perfect place to gather with friends and family over a nice meal or an evening at the quiz, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere will make you feel right at home. It really is worth a visit!"

Absolutely fantastic place. First time we've been and we will definitely be returning. The food was so lovely and the manager and staff made us so welcome. Absolute gem of a place.

Called in to see in the New Year with family, there was a great atmosphere and it wasn't overcrowded. Drinks were reasonably priced , no big queues to get served staff were very pleasant and attentive

Took dogs on a walk and called in for a drink. The staff were very welcoming and got us a couple of stools so we could sit at the bar. Good atmosphere and food smelled lovely, which we will try another time.

We went for Sunday lunch and had a small one and it was so filling we waited for half an hour before we even thought about having a dessert. When we did have a dessert they where big but we really enjoyed the meal.

We had a really lovely lady serving us (I didn't ask her name but she was very pretty and had tattoos! , who was so friendly and helpful our whole evening My friends (and their dog! and I all felt really welcome as soon as we got there would definitely go back!
