Absolutely fantastic food , really great atmosphere but the honey toast is the very best thing about the meal !!

Wonderful meal in a beautiful historic Devon inn. Everything was prepared by the owner and his wife. Very friendly place.

The charming village pub offers a delectable and reasonably priced Sunday roast. The food and service were excellent, and I would definitely recommend trying the pung ping (Thai dessert).

A cosy and traditional country pub with a very convincing sleeping cat! The food was amazing. Not only beautifuly presented, but cooked to perfection truly delicious. We'll definitely be back.

very friendly pub, very tasty eating, very dog friendly. we were a party of seven adult with two dogs and we loved it here, we found it only at the end of our vacation! we asked ourselves to order more likely than four glasses of drinks we talked about were brought on our table to try. they were happy to change a few dishes to our requirements, and the cook then made another helpful suggestion that we liked to accept. to recommend this place, they will not be disappointed. : Speisekarte ansehen

This village pub is your typical local spot with a great selection of real ales. I decided to try the Korean spicy chicken with squid for starters, based on a recommendation, and I was not disappointed. The starters were delicious and cooked perfectly. For my main course, I opted for fish and chips, which turned out to be the best I've ever had - I cleaned my plate completely! The prices were reasonable and overall, I couldn't find anything to fault. A fantastic dining experience.

This restaurant is a fantastic and welcoming place! We stopped by for dinner on the third day of our vacation in Devon and were so impressed that we returned on days 4, 5, and 6. Tim and Nutcha are excellent hosts who made us feel right at home, as did the friendly locals in the bar and the cozy log fire. The food is delicious, with unique items like pung-plng (a Thai honey bread) and a tasty venison stew, all at reasonable prices. They also have a great selection of well-kept real ales and unique gins. Thank you, Tim and Nutcha, we will definitely be back!

Sweet old pub in super quiet location. Nutcha so polite and friendly. Husband cooks. This is not fast food, but delicious. Crab was on special, baguette or salad. Salad imaginative with fruits. Also home-made potato salad, very good. My husband had the burger, which he enjoyed, with excellent chips, which we all picked at. Interesting old photos, cosy old fireplace. A proper old-style pub, with modern cooking. All it lacks is a cat! The village now has good parking by the playing field, walk down from there to pub and admire the lovely church (open in day-time) and old cottages, some with pretty gardens. Speisekarte ansehen
