Great news - the original staff members have returned and the restaurant is running smoothly with delicious food. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly. There is a cozy bar area, as well as a spacious dining room and a snug area.

Spontaneous lunch on a long journey! What a pleasant find. The server was friendly, thoughtful and polite, the locals were helpful and it feels as though they have thought of everything where ever you go in the building. The food was delicious and catering for gluten free was an easy and smooth transaction, that was thoroughly appreciated! I feel this will be a regular for us from now on. Thank you very much guys.

This charming pub is located in a picturesque village just off the A303. It offers accommodation as well. A group of friends and I dined here and found it to be bustling with locals and other diners. We all relished our main courses, particularly the delicious steaks. The desserts were also scrumptious. The dishes were nicely presented and flavorful. The service at the front of house was a bit hectic, likely due to the busy atmosphere, but the staff were still friendly. We would definitely return to this establishment.

So our first time here, and learnt that it’s new owners only took over 4 weeks ago. My wife and I both opted for the cheese burgers. A simple option but one that can either be some well or be a total failure. Glad to report that these were very very good cheese burgers, Good quality burger cooked with a really good char resulting in a great burger Definitely recommend. We will also plan a return soon and try a Sunday lunch. Good beer and wine, service attentive and seating comfortable. In summary a good start for the new owners. Speisekarte ansehen
