Really great breakfast menu something for everyone, all well cooked and enjoyable. Friendly attentive service. Clean restaurant. Good prices. Ticks all the boxes.

I love coming to the market tavern for lunch especially if im having a toastie they're my favourite! the food is always 10/10 staff are always so friendly and its easy to access

Great food and drinks, friendly service. Seating inside also outside to the front and the rear. My current favourite meal here is the smoked salmon and spring onion omelette which comes with a huge fresh salad. Delicious. Speisekarte ansehen

24/11/24 Called in on off chance for breakfast, first time here, food was good place clean and friendly and reasonably priced. Only criticism is the smell of cigarette smoke waffting in from the back door put me off from calling again.

4 of us visited saturday 25th feb i had chicken curry absolutely delicious it was . All day breakfast was also a hit to followed by gammon also . No complaints here staff were very help full atmosphere was fab well done will absolutely call again

I'd missed Wetherspoons breakfast by one minute but managed to get a fabulous breakfast at the Market Tavern. It was delicious, great value and the staff are lovely. I sat outside in the sunshine but inside is clean, contemporary and air conditioned. Also a good selection of cold beers and wines Speisekarte ansehen

Called in mid-morning when visiting in-laws in the area. Jolly, efficient service. Others enjoyed their bacon sandwiches, whereas I had a great cooked breakfast; the first time I've ever had one with chips included! All good; would definitely go back when the opportunity arose. Prices very reasonable.

Have come to the Market Tavern for Friday drinks a while. Recently have started to have food too. Andy and his team are wonderful. Always friendly and welcomes us as regulars. The food is delicious and served in good time. All staff are friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere. Good portion sizes too. My favourite place in Neath.

Visited this little gem for the first time 6/4/23. Very pleased with the service, lovely atmosphere and the food was fab. I ordered the gammon. It came with chips, a fried egg that was cooked perfect and a chargrilled pineapple slice. It is up there with the best gammon I’ve eaten in a long time. I would very happily return in the future.
