What can I say? It's a witherspoon. The staff are brilliant. but the atmosphere it's basically mcdonald's of the pub world.

Had a fantastic meal with the grand children. Staff were extremely friendly and excellent with the boys. Highly recommend this place.

Weekend breakfast with my family.. nice place.. seems cleaner and less crowded than other Spoons venues. I had the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup..

Beer SA terrible. Steak over cooked could tap your shoes with it. No peas no garnish. Wish I'd had a sandwich at home. Don't have a Steak. **** awful

Very disappointed my steak and 8 chips was not very nice the steak was like rubber my wife had pasta Alfredo it was so stodgy she could not eat it. It will be our last time.

It's what you would expect for a Wetherspoons. Sadly the food was cold and not very exciting. Staff were fine. Didn't really see many staff members as you can order from the table with a QR code.

As with other spoons ive visited,the food is awful.its dry and warmed up.ok its cheap but not tasty.i refused it.i ate 1 chip and gave it back.the waitress didnt offer a replacement or if i wanted to see a manager.so i finished my drink and left.i wont be going back.avoid it if possible.

Called in for lunch .. food came to the table in around 10 mins . Boneless chicken.. usually good , however the chicken turned out to be Luke warm at best .. some of the chips were undercooked almost raw) shame , nice pub. Not exactly fancy food .. least you 'd expect is for it to be hot when it arrives? .... gluen for punishment? .went for lunch yesterday as opposed Abergavenny. Festival on in castle) ..... ultimate burger looked great ... Sadly was virtually stone cold ...will stick to Abergavenny branch

Visited this establishment on the 30/12/2023 for breakfast with the. Family all I can say what a diabolical breakfast for the price ,rationing went out in the war ,the amount of beans in the bowl was unbelievable,1 scoop I asked for a bigger portion and the boy serving returned with a similar portion as first, on my plate was 1 slice of bread , something that resembled scrambled egg ,1 scabby piece of bacon well cooked ,burnt offering I asked for the manager who never appeared so I just asked for my money back ,let's just say I won't be returning to this establishment for breakfast in the future there are far better establishments in the town who do a much better value breakfast i left with...
