"We had a fantastic experience during our New Year's Eve Sunday lunch at this charming venue. Right from the beginning, we felt warmly welcomed, and they even accommodated our dog, placing our reserved table next to the cozy log burner, which was absolutely perfect! Jess took excellent care of us throughout the entire meal. She went above and beyond, even bringing around additional roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings during lunch. The portions were generous, and I was impressed that my vegetarian meal arrived simultaneously with my friend's dishes, complete with vegetarian gravy. We've already recommended this spot to our friends, and we're definitely planning to visit again."

Delicious Sunday roast. Tasty, great portion size and plenty of veg. Staff come round with a bowl of extra roasties and Yorkshire puddings as well and offer you extra which was a great touch.

The service was great. Friendly , knowledgeable and attentive staff. The food was excellent. We all had roast dinners which were amazing. The portions were large and they brought around extra food too. The atmosphere was relaxed. We will definitely return.

Great service through a beautiful Aussie girl, but this is where the good experience ended, sad. The food was overpriced for quality, a steak was boiled (converted, then boiled) and there were several articles not available madness for a Saturday night. Also the male and female toilets were disgusting in serious need of cleaning.

The Sunday roast was meant to be pork with crackling We weren’t told there wasn’t any cracking and the pork was very disappointing it was really thin like it had just been carved for a kebab wrap at the chip shop The vegetables were lovely and so was the gravy We weren’t told about the special menu either such a shame we also ordered water and we waited a long time for it to arrive after asking a few times The staff were pleasant enough but I do think they need to be informed if there are important things missing off the menu Other than that the venue was very pleasant I would like to maybe try the weekday menu another time
