Absolutely amazing Sunday lunch. Food was gorgeous, piping hot and plentiful. Service was fabulous. Looking forward to going back!

We have had an amazing meal here! The food is first rate and all of us enjoyed it, the staff are super friendly and so helpful. I would highly recommend here.

Hadn 't been for a while and thought would try it out after its lengthy refit . Service was excellent, server Nancy was very attentive. Unfortunately The Owl was let down by the quality of the food served. A Pizza was so burnt it was inedible. Even more surprising was that in early February Christmas Pudding and Yule Log were still on the menu!

Our fave local, we come once a week at least and love it. Lovely vibe, drink choice is great and the food is fabulous. Anthony always gives us a very warm welcome and his customer service from him and his team are great, you all do a great job. The pizzas, curry night and Sunday Lunches are our favourites but all the food is excellent quality and so tasty, lovely chef as well comes and says hello thanks to you all see you soon Lou Nik xx Speisekarte ansehen

Popped in for a drink with friends. Tried to order a bowl of chips at 8.05pm to be told the kitchen was closed however 20 minutes later food was still leaving the kitchen. We asked if the lady behind the bar could as the kitchen staff if they would do a bowl of chips because the fryers were clearly on as I had seen food leaving the kitchen with bowls of chips on. She kindly did go ask the kitchen but then said no the kitchen is closed. Very disappointed as food was still coming out the kitchen and takes minutes to produce a bowl of chips. Not good customer service. I wasn't asking for a well done steak at 7.55pm.

My wife and I visited here twice in the last week for an evening meal. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was proper home made food, and the quality was superb. I had lasagna, which was stacked with quality meat and flavours. My wife had pizza, even the base was home made and very tasty. Side salad with lasagna was quality too. Table service was brilliant with nothing a bother. Very decent portion sizes to the point they offered a box to take the rest back with us. Price were very reasonable for it all too. This is a spacious pub, very relaxing and I would highly recommend you pay a visit.

Shown to table straight away,15/20mins later we had to grab waiter to ask what seasonal veg,then further 10mins before I had to grab someone again to take order...around 20 mins young girl came out to ask if one of our party was vegan or veggie,as she ordered vegan pie!! Then food came out, 2 roast dinners,3 pizzas,I vegan and fish n chips...4 meals all fine but roasts had peas n carrots, missing all veg and roasters I had to ask where veg was,they apologised and went back to get some, came out,but still missing parsnips and roast potatoes,so back again, vegan pie also missing veg...eventually all sorted,but roasters were large and hard on outside,parsnips hard,, no one came and asked how ev...
