Nice place, great staff and the food was delicious. We had fish chips and the steak pie. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

An impromptu visit for a roast and a drink, food was excellent and served quickly on a busy afternoon. Staff were very good and friendly as always.

they met with friends and had a wonderful meal and drinks. we went for the 2 rough meal and it was delicious. the staff was friendly and efficient and nothing was too much annoyed. I would certainly recommend this place, well done to all.

Nice Clean, friendly staff, the food menu prices seemed reasonable. I am a fussy eater, and didn't find much on the menu I could enjoy. I have just started enjoying my Ale's they didn't do IPA the Ciders they offered were limited. But otherwise it's a nice place to go, worth going to as it may be right for you.

What a gorgeous venue, inside and out! Not local so called in via a Google search. Average prices £15 for our evening meals which were nice but my chicken was really dry. Didn’t have desserts but tea/coffee was lovely. Young server was very good albeit a little slow clearing mains only after being out our coffees. Overall would return for a special occasion if in the area again

Our fave local, we come once a week at least and love it. Lovely vibe, drink choice is great and the food is fabulous. Anthony always gives us a very warm welcome and his customer service from him and his team are great, you all do a great job. The pizzas, curry night and Sunday Lunches are our favourites but all the food is excellent quality and so tasty, lovely chef as well comes and says hello thanks to you all see you soon Lou Nik xx

Popped in for a drink with friends. Tried to order a bowl of chips at 8.05pm to be told the kitchen was closed however 20 minutes later food was still leaving the kitchen. We asked if the lady behind the bar could as the kitchen staff if they would do a bowl of chips because the fryers were clearly on as I had seen food leaving the kitchen with bowls of chips on. She kindly did go ask the kitchen but then said no the kitchen is closed. Very disappointed as food was still coming out the kitchen and takes minutes to produce a bowl of chips. Not good customer service. I wasn't asking for a well done steak at 7.55pm.

morning at 1 o'clock for mothers and the place was full and busy, but the atmosphere was great and the staff was all fantastically attentive, courteous and relaxed. nothing stressed what is really important. our beverage orders were immediately removed and delivered very quickly to the table. the food was divine! by far the best roast dinner I have eaten everywhere. the lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the accompanying was amazing and there were loads to go all 8 of us. Shown to table straight away,15/20mins later we had to grab waiter to ask what seasonal veg,then further 10mins before I had to grab someone again to take order...around 20 mins young girl came out to ask if one of our party was vegan or veggie,as she ordered vegan pie!!
