This pub hits all right points! fab food and drinks, the manageress Chelsea is great and her staff always on hand to help. We will be popping back soon for a Sunday lunch as I've heard great things about the roast dinners! Thanks for a...great time.

I booked a table for one last Sunday and enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and cheerful. My table was in the extension which is bright, attractive and very comfortable The food was very tasty, roast beef tender and a large selection of vegetables. A bit...more than my capacity so I passed on dessert

beautiful appetizers of brot and olive fried was good, maybe meat a little too fat, but they can never judge how bark meat or pork is going! we didn't have space for pudding, but surely there is good! so for. the fat meat and service was perhaps a little slow, but in and out, so can not complain! will return! Thank goodness, I have found an excellent Sunday roast. After dining out for a number of Sundays and being disappointed, what a relief to find a restaurant no one had negative comments, just high praise. The service was efficient, prompt, polite, just delightful and the...atmosphere wonderful. I will certainly be back!

We called in and sat outside in one of the little private huts' and the bonus was, as it was a little chilly, little electric heaters...great stuff. The food was hot and freshly prepared although the app' ordering was a little delayed...better to go straight...to the bar for quicker service. Nice place and we will return.

we were adult, a small child and a baby, a recipe perhaps for a chaotic lunch, but the nice staff and their appeal to our needs made for a very relaxed couple of hours. the beer here is a great attraction; the gaumen and. the ipa are both delicious. the menu offers for everyone and there are every quantity choice for vegetarian eaters. I visited with a friend for a lunch and pre-booked a table in their beautiful conservatory, we were seated quickly, service was quick and friendly and our sandwiches plenty with lovely bread and chips and coleslaw on the side. Food was scrumptious and atmosphere friendly...and relaxed. They have some lovely outdoor seating benches with heaters too, and beach huts to sit in. I will definitely return and would recommend The Canford for a relaxed lunch, dinner or drinks with friends!

we had a table where were in a good place isolated from other tables. we chose bratbeef that came quite fast, but was only luke warm so that the waitress was more than happy to take it away. minutes later we have. all new tellers of foods that were much hotter and the bratkartoffeln and yorkshire were crispy. However, the bark was not good, about was very chewing and unusable. we didn't mention it to the waiter. we shared sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice that was good.

Terrible service and very rude manager. Our family of was seated in the conservatory on a windy and rainy Sunday lunchtime. Unfortunately the table was placed in front of an external door which was opened and closed by waiting staff and the manager at...least times during our meal. Needless to say this was very cold and windy and sent napkins etc on the table flying each time. I politely asked the waitresses twice if there was another way they could access the table in the outside seating area. They apologised and at times used an alternative route but still continued to frequently open and close the door. Our own waitress Eloise was very polite and as helpful as possible in the circumstance... Speisekarte ansehen
