The Poacher - Speisekarte

Nice little pub, no Pepsi Max on tap but had Coke Zero in a can so no probs. The beer was great. Seating is comfy, pub nice and warm on a cold day.

The atmosphere is beautiful and the owners are friendly. The food was amazing, especially the Bailey's chocolate pot. I will definitely be coming back.

We recently visited this restaurant for coffee after lunch, and we found the atmosphere to be pleasant. The staff was friendly and the restrooms were clean and tidy. I would definitely return to this establishment. Speisekarte ansehen

This pub is so beautiful, has a friendly atmosphere and the staff is so kind. I went there to use a promotional voucher and fell in love with the place. Worth to mention that they have events (quiz, live music) on certain days of the week. If you want a quiet evening, better go in other days.

NO pumps in use anymore, and there weten't even any bottled beers available, I was so embarassed my friends stayed there the night looking forward to dtaying in a pub.. mot not one woth NO Beer !!..Staff explaiined they are in process of a takeover, So let the beets run down ...but I did enjoy a Lovey Pimms whilst waiting.

The restaurant offers free parking. The room is styled like the 1940s, and it is nice and clean. The separate toilet and shower are a good size. Previous complaints about the green light from the emergency lighting being too bright at night have been addressed with the addition of a black band. The only downside is that the pub can be a bit loud until around 10:30, but that is to be expected as it is located on a high street. Speisekarte ansehen

This is Pleasant looking pub. It was quite empty when we arrived they were having a live band play in the evening. The toilets were clean and tidy and smelt fresh. We ordered food but not all dishes were delivered correctly. The food however did taste good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely outdoor garden. What a fantastic find! A friend and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening around 8:30pm and were warmly welcomed by friendly locals and the staff. The landlord was also very pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised to find leftover roast potatoes from the Sunday menu placed around the bar and tables for patrons to enjoy for free. They paired perfectly with the pints of Guinness that I had. My friend couldn't get enough of them! We loved the cozy Chesterfield sofas next to the log burner, even though it wasn't lit due to the restaurant already being well-heated. The decor was beautiful and created a comfortable atmosphere. I have quickly grown fond of this place and highly recommend it....

Wow, Sian Powell Gary Berwick have made a great job with this extensive refurbishment of The Poacher. A free house that was first licenced neck in 1683 and has seen many owners. It finally became known as The Poachers in the 1970 's. You really must disregard any reviews before it 's relaunch on November 24th 2018. Review date: 13th December. Friendly staff, good beers and some great looking food. The interior is bright, clean and very welcoming. Gary and the staff at that time made you feel at home. The menu has a good selection to choose from but I had had to choose the 8oz rib eye steak cooked medium rare, and I must say, I was very impressed with the quality. It just fell apart with hard...
