"Absolutely fantastic! Everything about this restaurant was great. It’s an independent eatery with a chef who truly cares about his ingredients, resulting in perfectly balanced meals. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the beef practically fell apart at the mere thought of a knife. The dishes were so flavorful that you won’t mind spending money on them. We loved the smoked haddock and salmon fish cakes; their beautifully crispy exterior revealed a smoky aroma when cut open. The smooth pâté had a delightful flavor, and the tender beef and irresistible lamb were highlights of the meal. Thank you for the attentive yet unobtrusive service. We can’t wait to return and try more delicious dishes!"

"We live in Stoke on Trent but visit Deganwy once or twice a year. Every time we stay at the Quay hotel a visit to Paysanne is a must. The food and service are exceptional and the atmosphere generated by the host Cai is second to none. "dinner with friends . greeted at the door of a lady who took our temperature and shared a sweat. we were shown on our table, which was above and next to the bay window. we were served by a nice young lady. starter was crabcake x two . first I was disappointed by the size of them, but once I tasted soon over my hull. my partner had the muscles and enjoyed them thoroughly, but it could have been more. For me, the monk was packed in parma ham with a delicious risotto. partner had the seabrow. delicious. two bottles of wine and some other drinks made a very good evening. also our friends enjoyed eating. not complaining. Maybe a little. it was expensive, but since this was our first time in the big world for a long time, they just have to say it. enjoy life."

"This place was recommended by one of the owners of the hotel we were staying at and we are glad we took his advice. The menu was varied and interesting including Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. I chose a Japanese beer that I had never had before and a green chicken Thai curry. The drink was acceptable but the meal was exceptional. It was the best Thai green curry I have had since visiting Thailand. My wife had a glass of the house white wine that was ok and ate beef with spring onions and ginger and again the food was delicious. To follow I had a variety of ice creams including one matcha green tea ice cream which again I had never tried before but would certainly have again. My wife had jasmine tea. The waiter was attentive and efficient and although he had a little problem with language we all managed to make ourselves understood. Food was well presented, hot and full of flavour. The whole meal came to just £39.20 which we felt was very reasonable considering the excellent, tasty food we had eaten. If you’re looking for lovely food and good service this is the place to visit."
