"prawn cocktail at £9 was served with smoked paprika and a piece of cheap white brot and quantity garnel not justified this price. Pork-Loin special was so overpriced at £16 and bad in quality and amount of food that my friend gave. I had some of their chips, no succession when I didn't want to waste any more money. so disappointing that we decided as a group of 4 that we do not go back to this pub for eating. also on the way in there was a dog sitting on one of the chairs in the lounge with his bum on the chair pad. not the healthiest and cleanest sights when visiting a pub for a meal. I do not object that dogs are in pubs, especially in cornwall, as is usual, but they should be kept on the floor."

Staff were very accommodating and friendly, a good choice of food on the menu and not badly priced. Food was quick to arrive and delicious.

If I could give more stars I would. Pub food and hospitality is second to none. Camp site that we used was more than sufficient quiet clean and extremely good value for money. Ideally situated for all areas. Will definitely use again.

Fantastic food, friendly staff and very welcoming. Dog friendly, pool table and beer garden. Cider recommended to me was gorgeous. Good portions, very reasonably priced. Camped down at Praa Sands and this is only a little drive from there. Thank you!

This was without doubt the most discusting roast we've ever been served. Burnt soggy roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, that looked like it had been thrown up the night before. I could go on but I'll be ill if I think about it in more detail....Dirty cutlery, grubby glass's and that didn't even look as if they'd been washed. It was supposed to be a treat for the family but the whole thing was a nightmare..

we were looking for somewhere to lunch and saw the queens arms sign on the side of the road and thought we would see how it was. well, we stumbled over a fantastic pub, very friendly and helpful staff that was excellent, best chips. always better than the stone chippy! and the pudding was amazing. also a really mixed soda and limette, which is a rare thing! dogs allowed in the bar, so our two were also made to feel welcome. would recommend this pub 100

We went to the Queens Arms for our evening meal. The staff were amazing, very friendly, attentive but not intrusive. I’m a great lover of food and ale, I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was amazing, freshly cooked, well presented. The local ale...Breage was really nice and full of flavour. The pub itself is like a good old fashioned style English pub, a great atmosphere no blaring music just a warm welcoming environment. We will definitely be going back.

I stopped by this restaurant on Tuesday, 10th October for a light meal. The food was enjoyable, but I was a bit surprised when I saw that the menu advertised adding a side of chips for £2, yet I was charged £4 on my bill. I questioned this discrepancy with the staff, and despite showing them the menu, I was still charged double what I should have been. Unfortunately, this left a sour taste in my mouth, and I ultimately decided not to leave a tip. It's a shame, as the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant.

we have forgotten to consider how a very old pub is as loud as a plant system, terrible loud, we could hear every word that is said in the bar below. on Monday night my man slept. in the car, as he could not sleep when he passed the bar, there were 1 bar staff and 2 customers, sounding as if the bar was full with the amount of noise they made, only enjoy themselves, but if she had already 2 nights of hardly sleep, it starts on her and they have a 5 hours drive the next morning, it would not recommend to stay there, but it would not be fun!

Worst roast I’ve ever had in my life! School dinners put this abomination to shame. The most offensive part was the over cooked beef….was so dry it was the beefy equivalent of a pork scratching. There was something masquerading as leeks hidden under the beef,...obviously too embarrassed to have them on show. A grey mush which I think once was swede. All swimming in a brown water which I presume was supposed to be gravy. I pointed out there was nothing green on the plate…which was quickly remedied by the waitress by the arrival of some microwaved peas. Avoid at all costs.

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
