"First time customers with friendly staff who were very efficient. Food was delicious just a shame my first choice wasn’t available (chicken and chorizo risotto) but the gammon I had was very tasty and not in the least bit salty. If banofee pie is on a menu I will always make room for pudding and it was really good, one thing I would have liked is a fork with the spoon to help cut the biscuit base as it was solid not at all crumbly. Will definitely book a return visit soon,"

Booked for Sunday lunch which was very busy Food was good and it was warm and friendly on a horrible cold windy and wet day the young staff were very attentive well mannered and pleasant

We had a delightful Sunday lunch! The meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the portion sizes were ample. The staff was extremely friendly as well. I would definitely return! Speisekarte ansehen

Five of us had a lovely experience and we will be back. Small matters, one of the chairs had a broken back,we swapped it and told a staff member, one of our coffees seemed to have dregs in, told member of staff. She courteously apologised and changed it. But overall we had a lovely experience in all other regards, see you again

We all had a Sunday roast which was very good. The service was rather slow, for example, it was a long wait between getting the dessert menu (which only had a choice of 2, so could have been a verbal question) and ordering our desserts. We had to go and find someone to take the order. There was no coffee available either, which was disappointing. We would all return to try again though, as this could have been a blip and the food was lovely.
