"a last minute away family arrival coupled with a desire to dinate out instead of preparing a meal home, prompted us the river wyre. we had many nice meals there, so it was not difficult to arrange at the venue. we have booked after the first registration of our data online with ease. it was early for an evening meal, but when our family member had traveled from kent, he was in great need of a considerable meal. we were shown by a nice young courtesy man at our table and advised how to order properly. the process was effortless and as well as an excellent menu the visit was made better by a good selection of real ales that went very well. do not hesitate to recommend the river wyre."

Turned up without a reservation on a busy Friday evening,within a few minutes we were shown to a table. Food, drink and service very good and reasonably priced.

special occasions for 5 people after 10 minutes waitress told us 4 out of 5 main courses had expired. around 18.45 clock they would expect everything to be available on Saturday night. very disappointed

Even though the food was delicious and well-prepared, our table was ready upon arrival. However, we were disappointed that all of our dishes were not served at the desired temperature. We all ordered the roast trio, which was flavorful and well-prepared, but unfortunately, it lacked the necessary heat.
