THE most amazing, unusual, deliciously fresh food you could ever hope for. Friendly knowledgeable staff and a rustic, naturally beautiful setting. Totally recommend the field kitchen.

Another wonderful meal here. Informal, relaxed atmosphere and simply delicious food. Main of blade of beef with caponata was fantastic and accompanying vegetable dishes all great. Puddings wonderful too.

Great friendly service, also accommodating so we could bring our dog. Really enjoyed the food, love the concept of eating what is fresh from the farm on the day from big sharing plates. Lovely setting too. Highly recommended.

we have been coming to riverford field kitchen and the Makrele court that we had last night, with fantastic pleasures, was one of the best meals we had in their wonderful restaurant. all success for them in their new partnership status!

Last day of our holiday today and we made the best choice to come here for lunch, we had an amazing meal and a lovely time. Our toddler particularly enjoyed exploring the farm and herb garden. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be back. Thank you! xx

absolutely super space. was introduced at this weekend from the family to riverford and has already told friends, although it is the kind of place they would like to keep somehow secret. eating is wonderful, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. the environment is simply beautiful. highly recommended.

extremely interesting restaurant concept, which serves fresh seasonal local products in half-farm setting, sitting on community tables, where diners then share food plates that are brought out from the kitchens. we had a wonderful meal over Christmas time in a sociable atmosphere to meet and chat with new people next to us. the winter salads were ultra fresh, as expected from the attached farm and adventurous in insecurious and tasteful to boot. roast lamb served precarved on a plate was good, maybe a little over for me, but fine for the table and many different veg for variety. a large number of puddings were for the selection with the...read more

stupendes eating last night with the family in the field kitchen. so delicious. when we take 'new' people who they always concerned about sharing the posters and whether they 'll enough plus worry about the exchange of a table with strange mass of good and fun to chat with strangers! delicious selection of salads to begin with delicious brot; the bark was so delicious, but the vegan and vegetarian options on our table delicious. all sides were gluten, sugar and milk free, making it easy for everyone. the choice of puddings just incredible and so beautiful. the restaurant looks dear, with all dried flowers and vegetables and the staff attentive, friendly the crow of ice water just come! highl...
