Fantastic Sunday lunch , great staff and unfaultable , would recommend it to everyone The beef was tender and tasty, veg was perfect and the red cabbage was awesome , need the recipe for that

Had the pleasure of visiting The Sarn today with friends. We didn’t book but plenty of space. The food was excellent and fantastic value. Our host was friendly and welcoming. We had two babies in our party and were very welcomed. Huge portions and everything felt like quality ingredients, can’t recommend enough.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The establishment is beautifully designed and doesn't resemble a typical pub, but perhaps that's the intention - to be unique. The atmosphere was pleasant and the customer service was excellent; our waiter was very patient and helpful. We made a last-minute reservation for a table of 10, including 6 children, for Sunday lunch and the restaurant was very accommodating. The food was delicious, especially the tender beef and pork, and there were plenty of vegetable sides. The service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It's also a great value for the quality of food and service provided.

Had a lovely afternoon at The Sarn. Everything was in place regarding Caronavirus. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly young lady who welcomed us in. The Sarn has been beautifully renovated, we felt very comfortable. We ate outside in the sunshine (hopefully not the last this summer). The service was excellent, the food was delicious. Thank you all so much for a lovely afternoon.

Menu is nothing like the photos. Lunch very poor. Steak on bread very tough, frankfurter was a poor quality sausage cut into 4 pieces with slimy onions. Chips pale poor quality. No tomato juice or Worcester sauce from bar, no salt and pepper and when asked 3 tiny packets came, no brown sugar for coffee. Service very slow. This lunch was not cheap £1.1 and £13 per very poor dish. Not worth a visit. Speisekarte ansehen

We visited last night . My husband had vegetable soup for starters and I had the house salad excellent Mains were beef stroganoff outstanding! Desserts I had Eton mess which was excellent, husband had a chocolate mousse which he said was very good but a little bitter . Service was excellent, surroundings excellent. Exceptionally clean , all social distancing measures in place. Would highly recommend

We’ve been visiting the Sarn for three years, it’s a meeting place for our two families and can’t fault it. The staff have always been so accommodating and friendly and the food is great. We’ve eaten there twice in a week, Sunday lunch and a Saturday lunch. Both fab and the three year old catered for and child sized cutlery provided too. If the home made fish finger sandwiches are on the menu, you won’t be disappointed! A nice touch was that the three year old had home made fries while the rest of us had the chunkier home made chips, delicious! The sweets are awesome, some served with home made ice cream. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We were travelling as two couples and we called in here for lunch as the only place we could find that was open. The place is clean and bright and tables are well spaced. We were seated quickly but sadly the service was then pretty poor. The lady serving us said she was just helping out fair enough but she did not know what wine they had and there was no drinks menu so we had no idea of prices etc.. Eventually I went up to the bar to find out what was available and ordered a house red, but still no indication of price. We gave our orders after short delay but nearly an hour after we had arrived we still had no food. Other tables who had arrived after us were being served. When we eventually... Speisekarte ansehen
