Booked for Sunday lunch. Friendly greeting and tasty food with plenty of meat/gravy/ side veg. Will defo be be going back. Price per person: £20–30

FOOD!! We tried the steak pie with mash, the minted lamb shank served with chips, and a burger accompanied by chips. The service was prompt, and the food was absolutely fantastic! The portions were quite generous! The lamb shank was exquisite, and the leeks in cheese sauce were a delightful and flavorful surprise! The chips were exceptional—crispy and delicious! We truly savored every bite!

I had a frustrating experience at this restaurant. The advertised opening time is 2:00 PM, and we arrived to find the lights on, but no one came to the door. We tried calling to find out what was happening while waiting outside. When we looked through the window, we could see the staff inside, but they just turned their backs on us and switched off the lights.
