"my wife and I visited the first time a few years ago two years ago. before we had very good food and service. Unfortunately, as a restaurant, the pan has gone down. the door was out of order, so we had to. to enter over a sloppy back door. that should let the alarm bells ring. there were already a few on a table, but none of the others were taken. we were shown to a table and saw that next to us was not erased since the previous diners had gone. it was immediately obvious that the staff was overwhelmed by picking and delivery orders. When we looked around, we saw that the restaurant was ashamed and there were spinnwebs everywhere. it looked like they had been there for a long time. it needed a really good clean, but it looked like the restaurant was not a priority. we ordered a drink, appetizers and main courses and then waited, and waited, and waited. we talked to the other couple who was in at least 10 minutes before us. they also waited for her to eat. we got our drinks, but no eating appeared in about 25 minutes, for us or the other couple. however, the employees were flooded by telephone instructions, the tickets were dressed in full. we have decided enough to pay and leave for our drinks. the table next to us was not yet cleared. we remember to visit the employees of earlier and we felt very sorry because they are really nice people. Unfortunately, as with many other restaurants nowadays, the requirements for take-aways and deliveries are so great and the siam orchid has its day as restaurant."

My sister and I ate here last night and it was absolutely delicious. We ate fish cakes, satay skewers, Tom yum soup which was the best I have ever had, salad, pad Thai and a curry and coconut rice! Basically it was a feast and...it was all really tasty and fresh and nicely presented. This is a truly authentic Thai restaurant and the lovely chef was kind enough to come out and share some of her recipies with us. Oh and the wine was great too! We will definitely be going back! Thank you

We ordered home delivery and were not impressed. Mixed starter was some things (not sure what) all fried to the same brown colour and various sauces appeared to be the 2 little pots of the same sauce, but one had two bits of cucumber in...it. Certainly not worth £9.95. Thai Green Curry was a few bits of chicken and a few vegetables. The sauce tasted ok but it was thin and watery. Pad Thai Noodles is chicken and king prawn, not either/or and had two prawns in it and a few lonely bits of chicken. The Bok Choi was average and there was very little of it, especially for £5.50. We just weren't impressed as the food was very average, took ages to arrive and was overpriced for what we got.
