The Square - Speisekarte

My daughter and I visited this restaurant before going to Escape Reality. It was quite busy for a Monday and it seemed like they could use more staff, as the ones working were feeling the pressure to provide good service. Still worth checking out.

My wife and I stopped in for a couple of drinks the staff were great really friendly and great sense of humour the track and trace was really good tables were cleaned before we sat down would recommend to anyone can’t recommend the teroni lager high enough

great small restaurant and bar. to breakfast and not disappointed. hot, fresh, tasty house spices with a kick made, not greasy and really enjoyed. we sat in a standing inside, but they have a beautiful terrace on the front. personally friendly and professional. not expensive and we will definitely be back. thanks young, keep the good work on Speisekarte ansehen

We dined at this restaurant on Saturday, April 2nd and both ordered the chili. Both dishes arrived at the same time, but upon first glance, my heart sank as the meal was floating in water due to the rice not being properly drained. I was offered a replacement, but unfortunately, it was tasteless and I couldn't eat much of it. I don't expect much for a Saturday lunch in the town center, but I have honestly had better microwave meals from Farmfoods.

I went to Bar Square with my friends and had a negative experience. The waiter spilled a drink on my friend and didn't apologize. The food we ordered was disappointing - the chips were still frozen and the chicken had a bad odor. When we brought this up to the waiter, he insisted that the food was fresh. The nachos we ordered seemed to be the last crumbs in the bag and were missing some of the ingredients. Overall, the service was poor and the food was unsatisfactory.

Every visit I’ve had to bar square has been great. Visits with friends and family. The service is always fast and efficient, even when times are busy! Food is lovely, given with the COVID times some things are just off menu. Regardless of the COVID rules the staff still ensure customers are attended too and always have a nice visit with all rules in place. Popped in for a cocktail with my mother, sister and cousin. Told there was no paper menu or on line menu... asked if they had fresh classic margaritas and was offered frozen or not.. I asked if the frozen was fresh made and was told yes...I was given 2 margarita slush in a white wine glass? I questioned if this was premade and said I expected a proper margarita with salt, lime etc.. tasted if and it was overly sweet. I declined the drink and ordered a wine...left after one!...attitude of service staff was poor once I rejected the poor quality margarita!

The first thing the server said to our party was that they were out of pizzas, mac balls, mustard and breaded mushrooms which was a large part of their menu! Right then, we should have left the restaurant, but we stayed at our most displeasure. The burger was ok but the mac'n cheese was frozen and reheated making the dish soggy and flavorless. The chicken wrap was a disgrace to food. The sweet chili chicken wrap was very dry (also unfrozen) and they served it with the Blue Dragon sweet chili sauce straight out of the bottle. The only thing that was good were de chips/fries. Don't go there!

Visited 8pm on Saturday night with friends and family for a couple of drinks , having been in various bars and enjoyed sampling the cocktails we were disappointed when our drinks arrived as the glasses in which they were served were about half the size of cocktail glasses elsewhere although still cost the same . I visited the toilets and found them filthy -waders required due to the amount of water on the floor which was also littered with paper towels , I brought this to the attention of a female member of staff who just shrugged her shoulders and walked off.Needless to say we never stayed very long and won't be returning Speisekarte ansehen
